Do you ever use blueprints by other people from the workshop?

I hate using blueprints because to me it feels like I´m cheating.

IMHO it's not cheating, it's just recognising that some people can do better.

Said that, I never use them, mainly because I like challangin' my creativity. I even try to avoid using my own blueprints in each new park.

I love to spend hours researching and figuring out how to build what I imagine. IMHO it's one of the game's strong points.

I use a few sometimes, mostly smaller decorative things like planters and such that I can't really be bothered to manually build or select every time.

It depends what it is.

I currently have a runway that was someone's blueprint because it's something that is a ton of bits, and would require me to research what it's supposed to look like, and then it'd end up looking no better than the one I can download.

The only other blueprints I've used are coasters which I put down to try and learn what makes a decent ride. Once I've got the hang of coaster building then I'll likely stop using them.

My rule is basically that if it's something I want that I can't do better myself then I'll use it.

I don't use them for my parks but I definitely subscribe to them to check them out and rate them, there's some really cool stuff on there [up]

I don't exactly "use" ride in the workshop, but I often check them out, and just build them in a new sandbox park and ride them. People make very cool things.

yes I do if they fit a ride I am doing but most of the time I create things myself. In my Winter Blizzard coaster ride, I used a few but I changed them, like I used the new winter Train but deleted some items and deleted one of the carriges. If someone has created something that I would like for my ride I will use it.

I use a combination of workshop items and my own. It depends on my mood, if I want to build or not. There are some great things which you need many hours and a lot of patience to build on there.

It really depends on what it is. I mainly use it for custom lights, and some small scenery pieces. I usually build out my own stations and buildings now.

In the beginning I used some buildings to dissect them to learn the build system and to find out what pieces are available to build with.

I use them a lot but not always just for the full blueprint, sometimes I just take sections of the blueprint and add then to my custom building

I am a little conflicted about the workshop blueprints as i really enjoy making things myself but it can take a lot of time effort and dedication to build some things.e.g. i have spent the last week building a ghost train which still isn't finished but i have enjoyed the time spent doing it and feel happy when i ride it myself and see how it has turned out when you remember how it started out as a sort of nondescript shell that has evolved into something which looks great and people in the park are flocking to.

I have spent a good amount of time browsing the workshop for inspiration and ideas and might use some of the more specific blueprints in the future.e.g. one that springs to mind is i saw someone built a stargate which if i wanted a stargate in my park i could build one myself but it will just look like the one someone already built so why not use it?
I might use some also as basic building blocks i can customise to save me a lot of the generic work.

I generally like to build everything myself in my parks, but I do take a lot of inspiration from blueprints, and a lot of my time in-game is spent just browsing the workshop and looking at what other people have made.

I do use blueprints of the workshop, but not much, and sometimes I only place them temporarily to get some inspiration for my own creations.

I use a lot of other blueprints when building a park :)
It's sometimes hard to build everything by myself, and when I just want to finish a park, I use workshop items.

Important: I always rate the items I subscribe to. And I rate as well, even if I don't subscribe :)

I'm the worlds worst at coasters, so I use the blueprints all the time, I have some amazing stuff thanks to the community, without these this game would have been so much different for me. As it is, this is the best game I've ever had!

I only use the scenery items and some stalls if they are really good. I never use the "Rides" I like to build my own.

I love to spend hours researching and figuring out how to build what I imagine. IMHO it's one of the game's strong points.

Explain this one to me: How is having to look for workarounds one of the game's strong points? Doesn't make any sense. It's like saying having you figure out out how to eat soup with only a fork was one of the restaurants strong points. [wacky]

I don't use blueprints in my parks. I'm fed up with PC and don't play it anymore.
