I think so too. It is very incomplete and also wasn't mention in the patch notes. Might this, coupled with the friction sliders, be a sign that more coaster improvements will be making their way in Planet Coaster??[woah]

Holy crap! Well this is awesome. I hope its more extensive in the future. Being able to use the Trident on the American Arrow track would be preferable, as I don't like the embedded name on the American Arrow.

yeah it could be, it's an improvement but it's still track bound. The best would be of course if you can change the entire spline into a different track with different cars but I think frontier will think it's too hard for the more casual players because then you need a blanco spline track or people wouldn't understand they had to change the station or other utility pieces so they fit with the right coaster. Also this would mean you had to get totally rid of track limits because otherwise you wouldn't be able to change every track. So it looks like you will only be able to change some coaster car types and maybe this will work if you have for example a 4seat giga and want to change it to a 2seat giga or a 4seat inverted and want to change it to a 2seat inverted but I dont think they are planning so you can change a wooden with a wing coaster or something. But I do hope this would be possible, even if that means you had to redo the station and some utility parts.
But who knows really from the looks of it it's early
