Could somebody explain what does this ride's icon means ??? What does this involve ? That's a big mystery ...................

It does just what it says.... It selects the ride itself and any special effects objects that the ride triggers. It also puts you in main menu (as opposed to building) group select mode. The purpose of this is to aid in creating blueprints by accomplishing the 1st step of selecting everything.
