Parks Oberland Theme Park-4 Corners of Adventure

Howdy....waiting for Alpha 3 to actually start this.......but did a very quick park layout in PS to help me with planning of the park. Rudimentary for sure.....but will give a glimpse as to what I'm planning to spend my life doing after the 23rd. Cheers.

Sadly, I won't. I will however be posting a boat load of progress pics, and making buildings and rides available as blueprints on Steam.

When I was a kid, I had a notebook full of pages where I drew out my entire theme park I was going to build when I was older. hehe. Too bad I don't know where that is - would be fun to recreate in Planet Coaster. I think it's awesome that you are sketching out your idea prior to Alpha 3. It will be interesting to see how the two compare when you're done.

So.......Alpha 3 is here.......and following the silly Photoshop plan I made.....here is the progress thus far on Oberland Resort. Following the map I laid out pretty closely......amazing how much I got done so quickly....now to theme and create all the rides, paths and buildings....more to come tomorrow. Cheers!

Thanks Nemmie! Here is the beginnings of the Basilisk coaster called Satan's Hollow. Before and after shots....still have lots of theming and the station and queue. Loving Alpha 3!

Beautiful :) specially the carousel looks great.
the coaster looks great too. The green coaster in the back is looking very interesting :D

Wow the coaster is outstanding! I really love the terrain you constructed around it [up][up]

So what area is the coaster in? I'm guessing a haunted or scary area with the name "Satan's hollow"

That mainstreet looks epic. It's a perfect home for your gorgeous carousel.

Also, you've made the RMC T-Rex coaster look amazing. When we first saw the concepts and then later, the track at the factory, I HATED it, thinking it was really ugly. You've completely changed my mind and I would now like to see the first real life one built.

Thanks all for the kind words....tons to show off today. South Street Plaza is where you enter Oberland, and what an entry it is......the view from the steps of the Oberland Hotel gives a lovely view of the adventures that lie ahead. Also posting a closer pic of the ride at the back of the park....Leviathan...... this behemoth is an airtime machine...thank goodness for those OTSR's. Anyway...enough babbling....here are the screens....South Street took me about 4 hours to build.

Thanks Nemmie! Here are some screen shots of the "family" coaster called Fools' Mountain. It sits across from Satan's Hollow and has many surprising twists and turns through what will be a very darkly themed mountain (which can be seen in the background.). Really happy with how the station and queue turned out. Enjoy.

I really like how you planed out the entire park before starting with coaster/rides. Looks very promising!
