Brakes on the Hoax?

Could we get some brakes on the hoax? I was trying to make a second floor on my ghost train but, when bringing the track back to the first floor, it was too fast.
Or maybe 2 different track pieces, one that keeps it the certainmph, and one that it "loose" for dips in the track and such?

(could a mod fix the typo for brakes in the title, thank you)

For now, you could use the cat cars instead if you want a slower downhill. Hoax is good for those ghost trains with a coaster like dip in the middle. There are spook rides that go really fast and ones that go slow. But why did they want to make Hoax like a coaster? Sure the speed is good for those dips but otherwise it’s too fast. How about making a gradual downhill decline from the second floor or a long straightaway after the drop to give time for the car to slow down?

I think you can set the descend speed on the Hoax, I haven't used it but I'm sure I have seen this. It isn't brakes as such but it should stop the effects of gravity a little.

I don't want to use cats when the Hoax is available, and I want to make a small compact realistic ghost train that doesn't have to go zooming around the corner because its too fast :3

I think you can only set the speed the cars move, apart from the downhill parts of course :(

Ok, at the bottom of the hill make a tight circle over and over overlapping the track then continue on. The cars will slow down while spinning in a circle and when they continue on they will travel at normal speed.

I can't tell if you're being serious, surely you're not? also I'm suggesting something to improve the game, not asking for suggestions.

Hmmm... I can't test right now... but does the Hoax have a Trackpiece with the "pause" function? maybe you can misuse that as a Break.

Nah, only on the other huntsman :(
Its getting a bit annoying because I can't make a realistic layout / do what I want with the layout, I can't make anything compact with a small drop. I thought "Oh, maybe I'll try the huntsman" but that thing is huge in comparison :/

+1 for brakes on the Hoax. [up]

How about the Mouse Hunt? Or the other mouse coaster? Does Mouse Hunt have brakes? They could be used for compact dark rides as well.

For the love of God: YES!
Brakes and an option to let only the first of the three cars activate triggers. Triggers are terribly messy now.

Great suggestion! I would like to see Block Brakes on the Huntsman.
The Pause function is good and all and I have used it, but I feel having the ability to just place a block brake down to space out the cars and not allow the next car into the following area would be better. And please add a up and down arrow button for the "wait" slider. Why this was missed when the other slider buttons for rotation was missed is beyond me.

Maybe they could do it the way the Ghost Train at Blackpool does it: instead of brakes, have a downwards chainlift that stops the cars from going downhill too fast:

That way they wouldn't need to spend effort making any new assets either, just reuse the existing chainlift

Waldameer Park's Whacky Shack has a similar slow downward part... It's the part where you go through all the red doors with the heartbeat sound
