There is a simple way - just click the 'Don't block station" thingy - insert a tick and then have multiple trains, boats - whatever on the ride and then open - works really well
- sometimes, the cars just stay at one station - like a bug or get stuck - but I just fast forward game and eventually they move along and test like a real test button - I use it all the time in parks that are not open, or rides that need testing - BEST GAME EVER . . . [big grin]
I think he wants to test it while building the ride (maybe for clearance purposes or something) but you can't.
Your method only works with a complete circuit.
Edit: you know that every station in a transport ride has it's own waiting time setup?
So changing them in station 1 doesn't change a thing in station 2 and those cars will still be waiting 60-120 secs.
