Odd. I didn't read the title as big headed at all. It was just a statement; and it so happens to be pretty factual - I haven't seen a better one made yet. Some of the people arguing that it was big-headed, on the other hand, seem all mouth and no trousers.
Anyway, cracking work on the station. I saw your reddit video post, but was a teensy bit disappointed that it didn't point out the Mushroom Cloud Tours coach

Thanks. People really are taking it as a "HAR HAR I have the best one, yours all suck" when it really is more of a "I believe I've done the best one yet"
Update 4 was when I added the Mushroom Cloud tour bus, was quite proud of that to be honest even if it does look a little blocky. Shame we can't texture objects. Update 5 was mostly for the station, ride photography booth and revamp of the end-of-queue line which I swapped round from previous.
I think update 6 will be the adding of the Monorail, Blade, Ripsaw and associated trees and scenery. Update 7 will probably be the Nemesis Drill and the Skyride station and filling the area with trees. Update 8 will be shops and finally, Update 9 for Air. Then I think I'll be done. I originally thought I could do it all in 100 hours but I've spent nearly 70 just on Nemesis. Huge project.

You are confident and that confidence you need to take into your work. All those people who are bashing because you dare to say it is accurate should then try it for their own.
We all know how difficult it is to recreate something because of the lack of right resources.
Keep it up, can't wait to see more from your Alton Towers recreation.

It IS the best recreation I've seen, I just don't think there is a need to blow your own trumpet about it. That's all I'm saying. It comes off as ugly. Seriously, it really is good. For those going about how the person complaining should try it, I have, on RCT3 it was crazy hard and looking back on it I don't think there is a better one on RCT3 but I haven't boasted about that.
Planet Coaster IS the best theme park creator out there but they don't advertise it as that.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what else you create.

Why not? If you did good work - be proud of it. Stop being so humble. Repeat after me "I did the best re-creation of Nemesis with the tools available to me in RCT3!"

I can see that without being able to play track in any orientation, how hard that would be.
The issue with this thread isn't that the creation is inaccurate (which it isn't) or that the criticisms are justified (which they aren't). What bothers me about this thread is the fact that people keep talking about it as if it is some controversial issue. Yes the thread started off arrogant and the comments at the beggining were justified, but now it has keep going and is becoming pointless. Stop commenting on the thread as I'm sure RockandGrohl has learned his lesson. Stop talking about it, this isn't important anymore. I would like to apologieze for in some way starting the issue as I commented on this thread early on. Just stop.

Nah - nothing wrong with being confident in your own good work and it's not my problem that lots of people had their backs put up by it. People need to untwist their knickers.
