Roller Coasters Taliko - Custom Supported RMC (Collab ft. Freethebear)

So everything started off with Freethebear making an RMC Zero-G-Stall arch support concept in Planet Coaster.

I then told him he should turn that into a full layout and after some writing, we decided to collaborate on this project and create a fully custom supported RMC Hybrid coaster with an African theme, where Freethebear does the supporting, I do the landscaping and we both do the buildings!



Currently the layout and overall progress looks like this:

We care about the backstage areas and used Rubletrillion's carts there but everything else is our work.
The layout is sorta out and back-esque and you're supposed to experience a journey to the 'thrilling' Savannah of Africa!

In the queue area you are located in a small south African inspired village.

Wanna grab a cold drink while waiting? Obvious inspiration taken from Planet Brocoaster, thanks Rhian!

The station roughly consists of two facades, whereas one represents the south African side and one the north African part.
You enter on the south African side, travel through the Savannah with Taliko and exit on the north African side.

Update Time

We still have to finish the plaza in front of the station, the back part of the coaster and the ride entrance, which all in all should cover us for 4 more episodes.


So Episode 6 got released today!

So with custom supports Freethebear had to make some custom catwalks too. It took him hours but I think they came out quite nicely.

The north African side of the station will have this tower as a style-defining building to it.

Hungry? What about a Kebab, freshly made.

And here's a sneak peak on the unfinished plaza, that I made. Gotta love those shapes, ha.

BTW, the kebob server... Is that the ride's gate attendant? If not, how'd you get ride of the shop box?

I still believe the layering and textures you guys have come up with on your buildings is the best I've seen to date.All of it comes across as authenticate and belivable even as far as the age of the area goes. Absolutely incredible job guys!
