The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Challenge

So, the other day I was just browsing through YouTube when I came across a POV of Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom, Disney.
Now, my challenge to you is this:
Using the a version of the game, and the items in it, create a version of Big Thunder Mountain.

I just want to see how creative people can be, and let me know if you are up for the challenge!

Don't mind if you choose to wait until we have better tools for the job, such as terrain editing, different rock colours and a western mine themed car.

Wouldn't it be better to wait for the Terrain Tool before attempting a Big Thunder Mountain Challenge and the Coaster Train to go with it? You can only create a mountain with rocks at the moment.

I really am not interested in duplicating real world rides until the proper tracks and trains are released, and I can save them.

Assuming We can save scenery with a track I would rather painstakingly use rocks to make the mountain so i can save it and drop it later.

I'm all for imagination, but without red rock, it just won't be right. Also we don't have train/track type!

I said a while ago that the first thing I wanted to do was BTM, but I'd much rather wait for terraforming, terrain painting, Western-themed items and a Mine Train Coaster before trying it :p

Why wait, would be much more fun to recreate it with whats available than to essentially plop the pre-made items and call it a day. Just my idea of fun anyway.

Because, like everyone is saying, it just wouldn't look right, and you'd just have to do it all again when the right things came out.

Agree, my clicking finger is almost worn down to a stub after excessive rock placement and I'm a comparative lightweight when it comes to total number of rocks! I think the terrain tool will be a revelation and for a ride like this, it's worth waiting for.

Somebody has already attempted space mountain despite the lack of scenery pieces available.

your idea of fun = telling others what to do? lol

You can't really ask people "Why wait" if you can't do it yourself.

Ummmmm... ok, not sure why you had to be mean, I was merely expressing my opinion that it is more fun to create with limited materials than be able to simply place pre-made objects with much less effort and much less imagination required to reach the end result. People can do it now AND later, it doesn't matter to me, I was just saying it would be more of a mental challenge to get that look with whats available now. I am not doing it myself because I have school and already doing videos on a park so my free time is completely full already. Sure, I may mess around some and try recreating things with stuff now, but others with more time and imagination could do this now and we would all benefit from their work, because it would be amazing to view. The guy that recreated Space Mountain surely has no problem working with the current objects and that is the type of person I was addressing.

No need to be rude. I think they were just saying it would be fun to see what people can create even with limited resources at the moment. There's nothing wrong with that.

To address the OP, it seems Silvarret already tried this! :)

I'd probably wait for terrain tools and maybe the option of making track that moves side to side whilst climbing.

Beaten to pointing out that Silvarret already created a pretty fantastic mountain coaster using rocks. However, his is close to Matterhorn than BT. Big Thunder just won't look right until we have something better to work with.

Most of the rides I want to create use the landscape to "mold" the track. A few of the coasters I want to build are pretty much impossible to recreate without terrain editing. I "could" recreate the track, but it would never look right.
