If you saw the facebook post about this, you should notice that Frontier finally called them what they really are:
A Ticket Gate!!

Finally a gate is a gate and a booth can be a booth again. [heart]

I just found out that you can half bury the current entrances (including the attentdant) which might make them easier to hide until we get alpha 3.
Unfortunately if you go any deep than this then the paths don't join up.
