Adding Snow to every sandbox

In the paint section you only have snow when you are playing in Artic.

All the types of land have winter scenery but not the snow paint option. Would love to see this added to at least Alpine and Deciduous (Seems more logical).

I agree, I think it's rather silly that if you start a challenge mode on Savannah or on tropical, you can't get all the other ground paints. How am I suppose to make my themed sections if I can't even get the ground to look the part. I can't have sandy beaches in the middle of a christmas town. Or tropical green grass in a deciduous dirt ground. I want simple paint textures. Even colours. Black stone land, for a dragon themed area, or red dirt for a Utah Dessert/Grand Canyon landscape!... Should be simple enough no?

I still think that is doable. Or what about any mod? Does Frontier allows mods?

For performance reasons it's not possible to have more textures than we have currently owe biome. It may indeed be possible to swap textures for others by modding the game files, but officially, and technically there's no way to have all of them in one park. You can search the forum and find the many dev posts about this issue. I'm not going to spend my time hunting it out again. [wink]

I understand that adding more textures creates a problem, but has it been talked abiut replacing a texture from each one with a snow option. Isn't it just a different texture and it doesn't matter what color or look it is? I would gladly let one of the other ones go to get snow...or even white...doesn't even have to be a real snow look.
