IMPORTANT: Update 1.3.3

That's why they got something called filters.

And parks are still accessible but you can not copy the scenery items because they are locked.

I think there is no need of making to much of a fuzz about it. And I barely use the workshop so I am not worried.
Don't pretend the game becomes unplayable.

I think you are being very flippant with your comments.

He is voicing a general concern of his (which he's entitled to). Just because you don't use workshop items, doesn't mean the vast majority of players don't. If that were the case then there would be no market for Worksop items, which there clearly is.

I too stress the same concern, I'd personally prefer to purchase an expansion with all items in, rather than micro transactions here and there. Only time will tell how this will impact day to day play.

At present I'm more likely to turn the game off, if a workshop item has DLC content within it than pay for it. At least until some of the QOL issues are resolved.

Why is DLC always such a hot topic? I don't see that it affects any of us who don't want it so long as it's only for cosmetic items. We already got the full and complete game, and some stuff we were never expecting when PC was first announced. Isn't it entirely upto Frontier how they choose to try and make more money?

As for DLC making the workshop worthless, just no way. Most people will simply avoid using DLC content in their workshop creations if they want a large number of downloads. And those that do use certain DLC, will be able to tag it and it will be useful for others that need the same DLC.

Frontier have been thoughtful at every stage so far to not undermine community efforts to get the most from the game. I don't believe for one moment they would go down the DLC route without giving the impact on the general community a great deal of thought.

Let them make money however they can I say. They took a big old gamble in funding PC in the first place, the certainly earned the right to monitise it however they see fit :)

Obviously it's not the end of the world and once it's implimented I'll accept whichever path they choose. The reason it's such a hot topic is because it's one of the few features still not implimented which means we still need to make concerns known. Unfortunately with games like this, once the stuff is in game it becomes really hard to backtrack, but with DLC/Expantions/Microtransactions we are still before the starting line. And whichever way they decide to go it will affect players in different ways and make them money in different ways... so it's a healthy topic to debate.

As for saying it's just cosmetic.... well sure... but 90% of the game is cosmetic in that respect. They clearly say rides as part of the DLC line in the change log... so we will have specific rides that will be locked if we download a park with those rides.

As for scenery, while cosmetic, most blueprints include hundreds of peices from any difeerent themes and if any of the microtransactions have peieces that make buildings look slightly better... they will all be used by the good designers who make the blueprints we all like to use in our park. It's hard to tage a DLC when scenery pieces are all seperate purchases. Again, not the end of the world... but will definitely put a wrench into the workshop items being open to everyone. My personal feelings are that one decently priced exspantion will calm the fears of people thinking they will be spending $80 on 20 scenery items as seperate purchases.

I just have to say that you guys are amazing!!! excellent job! I will pay for all...hahaha.. thank you so much for this!

I will just buy it to support you frontier, even if I don't have any use of them. Just for the support! I love this game, even when I am often critical

Well, it's in as of today.

•Added 'Snap Point Placement' option when moving items, which will use snap points of the object if it has them

Does this also count for fences and lamp posts in combination with paths?

Great update as always and the DLC look nice as well!
But please re-do the display sequencer into a more graphical UI. I would really appreciate something like "we heard you, but it ain't gonna happen" or "we are working on it, but it takes time" or whatever.
The prestige system started to really appeal to me once you made it graphical understandable with the timeline. I think the display sequencer would be soooo sooo sooo much better with a timeline as well. :(

FYI: The white floodlight issue was not fixed. Mine are all still white in my parks. The change notes mentions it's fixed.

Did you happen to resave whilst the bug was present?

Shane

Why would I play without saving my parks? I'd lose all my work each day. The issue was that in existing parks that had floodlights, most of the floodlights turned white. I have probably 100 of them in my main project I'm working on (been working on for months). There's no way I could go back and find all the lights and change the colors on all of them again. (it would be a major pain). Were we supposed to stop all our projects while we waited for them to fix the issue? They should have announced this as soon as it was discovered if that were the case. Bo just mentioned not saving them yesterday or the day before, I believe.
