Product Update - Planet Coaster is coming to Steam

I haven't got my e-mail yet.
I logged into my e-mail this morning and it said that I got hacked and I needed to change my password.
I hope no one saw this frontier mail and deleted it before I recovered it.

I did use the frontier store partner key on steam though and that worked, but I can't play it yet.

Hmmm.... I've just had a look through my Frontier Store order history and the Early Bird Pass is Listed, but the order status is "Closed", rather than "Complete". I wonder if you might be onto something, because I'm also still getting "You have not ordered any steam keys".

Everyone who hasn't got a Steam key yet in their Frontier Store account page and has bought the Early Bird edition/upgrade, is welcome to contact Frontier Support. They are happy to help.

Well I've done everything I was supposed to do...got my "key", plugged it into my "Steam" account, etc. Seems like everything is all set. BUT I have never used steam before and I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me just HOW to launch "Planet Coaster Alpha", on Steam. Please be as detailed as possible because I am disabled and computers are still "rocket science" to me. Thank you.[cry]

first thing is wait till it releases 6PM BST/7PM CEST. rest is pretty much self explanatory when you try to install it :)

Hi Jadamo

if you have the steam account set and your key posted into there, when its time to go live (about 3 hours time) then on steam library page a button will appear saying something like install. all you will need to do is install using that, the alpha3 game will download, it will probably take some time as many will be downloading it. Once its downloaded the button will change to a PLAY button, all you will need to do is launch the game using the play button. The important thing before that is that u have got the key in and u will see under the steam tab "library" then under games the logo for planet coaster and planet coaster alpha should be there saying game purchased then if that's in place once it goes live a button should appear saying install. The steam update adding the game should be automatic, if not there is a menu at very top saying steam. in there is check for updates. Hope that helped, if more help needed post in forums and someone I am sure will assist you

i have not had any emails from frontier but got my key yesterday. you dont need to get a email i`ve never had any email about any of the alpha updates i have been checking on the forums about any of the alphas

Thank you very much, ollmong and TheMagicianThing! I had a feeling that there was going to be some down time. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't "missing" some little bit of Steam "rocket science". Sounds easy enough.[wacky]I'm over in the states, so I guess I'll be waiting until about 11pm or midnight, here. It'll be worth it. What I saw, in the Live Streams, from Gamescom, with Ed, just blew me away! Can't wait!!![woah]

if you can't install it at 6PM BST/7PM CEST, don't be scared. just restart the steam client and after that you can install it :)

WOW!!! That's right!!! If Britain goes live at 6PM, then the eastern states will go live at 1PM! My brain is like mashed potatoes, since my heart attack. I was thinking the other way round.[shocked]

Hi jadamo, check your steam page and see if you can see blueprints arriving

ok, and if you browse workshop u will see many more things , castles parks etc. so looks like your all set to go!!!!!!!!!! when the actual game goes live, you will get that install button
