Got an e-mail about the Steam key, still encountering this problem though.

So I'll be waiting till the end of the game, it will come sooner or later. [up]
I'm thinking late afternoon myself. It is a big alpha release, a rollout of amazon cloud servers for the features and a steam debut (with additional Workshop functionality added).

steam will install a new fresh copy in your steam folders
(don't worry about your older saves. the game will find where they are automatically (same location as before))

Sadly true, someone manually needs to generate or fix the issue.

You're not alone in this, I have the same problem. We just need to be patient and wait for the keys to be sent out, besides it's not on Steam yet so we can't play it anyway.
Where is the joke? It's actually said 1000 times above your comment. Just wait for the key.
Make sure you guys back up any parks you want to keep before deleting the game.
