does that mean flat rides will have them too?

this was just a concept . in game the lighting on the ride isnt like this either . not sure but I don think flat rides will have operator booths although I wish they would
If you check out the latest PC Video it has a ride operator operating buttons in it.

It had indeed, but that was a coaster if i remember correctly. Coasters already had a place to have a controll box.
So i wonder mostly about flatrides.

Altough i dont know how that will work out since i rather not have an employee at the entrance of my que line and another one doing the controlls. Rather have 1 who does both jobs.

I'd rather we were able to employ staff to work on the rides as well as part of the overall park management but that's another topic altogether...
