Schedule of Planet Coaster Events

I have tried to create a kind of schedule of all events,anoouncements, major updates (the ones with Bug Fixes only are not include) of Planet Coaster since the first announcement of Coaster Park Tycoon in January 2015. Maybe the list isn't complete and I miss some MAJOR event or update. With the Major updates I've added only a few important features. Feel free to remind me on missing updates or important gaps and I will add them to this list. I hope you'll find this list useful.

If you have a look on the major updates with content-releases, you can see a kind of pattern, that we get mostly a major update after an event (Gamescom, Pax, E3), so maybe we will see a Fall Update between Pax East and Frontier Expo in late September. But that's currently pure speculation.

Great list [up] instead of saying "Public Release' for 17.11.16 I would call it "Official" as the alpha was still available to the public. Otherwise, there are a few missing items, like the water rides, or new scenarios.

maybe we will see a Fall Update between Pax East and Frontier Expo in late September. But that's currently pure speculation.

I'm hoping for some more spooky scenery before October! UI and QoL fixes is a big request I'm hoping to see addressed soon. And also Im hoping for a better DLC add-on similar to RCT3 soaked [yesnod]

Frontier speaks official from the "Public Release." Alpha was at the time only available to Early Bird customers.

I pre-ordered Planet Coaster in August, I did not purchase the Early Bird, but I was given access to Alpha during the Party in the Park and received access to the beta. I also played Alpha when it first released, at my friends house who had purchased Early Bird. And many people posted videos of themselves playing the game back in March of 2016. How is that not "Public" access?

Everyone could buy the Early Bird version so it was a public alpha.

I use the terms, hat frontier use in their threads titles. And the list should just give you an overview about Planet Coaster's major releases. That's all.
