Removing benches, street lights and trash cans

I am trying to re purpose an area in a park, and have to Terra form the whole area, but when i delete everything, those park benches, street lights and trashcans are left and I cannot
delete them using the multi-selection tool, you have to delete them individually, one by one and it is a pain, is there a way to get a tool that would delete anything inside the
selection box, and i mean everything.

I hope as well that maybe in the future the Multiselect tool will include path extras as well.

Because now we are able to create picnic places which are unreachable for guests.
A tool to remove path extra's would be handy
