Even if it does, it will run it poorly even on 720p low settings.
I have an HP 15-ab222tx white thin laptop with DVD drive integrated. It has a 6th gen Intel Core i5-6200U which when I played Alpha 1 on it, was 100% utilized. My laptop also has Intel HD 520. Even when Alpha 1 was out, all I got was Intel HD 520 was 1-2 fps on 1920x1080 LOW settings. My laptop also has 8GB DDR3L RAM and a dedicated AMD R7 M360 2GB DDR3 GPU. Even the AMD GPU is better than the Intel HD graphics, but not by much.
I primarily game on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. I also have this game, The Sims 4, Cities Skylines, and Recore and Forza Horizon 3 on PC, so earlier this year I decided to get my first custom desktop PC. It has a high end i7-6700k quad core processor with a high base clock speed, and an AMD R9 390 which outperforms a GTX 970 because the 390 has a bandwidth of 384GB/s and large 512-bit bus and 8GB GDDR5 memory. With my custom desktop, I can play games on maxed out settings in 1080p. But the game is not optimized yet. That is why people with i7's and 2x 980's and what have you, are running into 10-15fps. I watched one of Olli's YouTube videos Sci-fi park and he was getting 2fps. This game is very CPU demanding.
The i7-6500U (2.5Ghz base speed, 3.1Ghz turbo, 4MB cache, 2 cores, 4 threads - source, Intel's site ARK 6th gen processors), is also only a dual core processor, and has a noticeably lower clock speed than a quad core i7-6700k processor (4 cores, 8 threads, 4Ghz base speed, turbo boost to 4.2Ghz, can overclock, 8MB cache). The i5-6200U on my laptop has 2 cores, 4 threads, 2.3Ghz base speed with results from Windows 10 Task Manager only capable of a maximimum 2.69Ghz turbo speed.
