I put it because I couldn't spell it lmao [haha][haha]

Also have Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris in April.
If you can add one day to your trip I advise you to start with the second biggest parc of the country, the "Parc Asterix" (45 minutes by car from Disneyland Paris) and finish with two days at "Disneyland" + "Walt Disney studio" [yesnod]

In the UK I've been to pretty much every single park, in France, Asterix and Disneyland Paris, in Germany Europa Park, in Spain Port Aventura and Warner Madrid, and in the US the Disney resorts in Florida. Would love to go to some of the parks in California and Canada and Cedar Point.

Have you ever been to Oakwood? It's worth if just for Megafobia, since it's one of the only "proper" woodies in the UK

What about Blackpool [woah]?!

I've not been there no, I've always wanted to but it's crazy far away! (Say's the guy going to America for Lightning Rod [haha])

Had a week in Tenby last summer and visited Oakwood for a day. Megaphobia is a brilliant ride. I went on it half a dozen times, riding the front seat, rear seat and middle cars.

Blackpool has two good woodies, the Big Dipper and the Twin Track Grand National which is my favourite. I just wish they would build a woodie at Alton Towers, as there aren't many left now in the UK.

My wife and I are hoping to visit our youngest daughter and her husband in Melbourne for 4 weeks in 2017. Is there a Theme Park near Melbourne we could visit?

Those 4 i listed, on the Gold Coast in Queensland, are the "destination cluster"; all nearby and a hotel/rental car sees you right. Probably not a bad round trip from Melbourne either - the flights are very cheap especially if attached to an international round trip ticket.

At https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_amusement_parks_in_Oceania they list these:
Victoria

  • Adventure Park, Geelong
  • Funfields, Whittlesea
  • Gumbuya Park, Tynong
  • Hi-Lite Park, Geelong (closed)
  • Luna Park, Melbourne
  • Melbourne Showgrounds, Ascot Vale

Maybe a local could comment...
