I think the last summer update was helpful to say the least, but i think this time around frontier should do more with the entertainment/ realism of planet coaster instead of terrain or something that takes focus off rides like last years summer update had. i think they should implement colorful water jets, interactive water jets for the peeps to spray at people on the nearest water ride, maybe even some water park-esque features like pools and dinghys; stuff like that. They could also put in some highly requested roller coasters AND flat rides (XXtra emphasis on and) like LIMs, Intamin suspended (with chain lift & launch option), or 4D freespin. Personally 1 out of the 3 roller coaster we got from last years update could've gotten scraped....and we all know which one i'm referring to. On top of the coaster i think we need the flat ride rotor, intamin drop towers w/ the aniomation to vary the amount of drops and height of each and a sky swat inspired flat ride. Lmk what you guys think!

How about we do away with seasonal labels since summer comes at different times depending on where you are in the world? [big grin]
"Coming this summer" always gets me, I have to think about when that actually is relative to my time zone (Australia) which is not your time zone. Even worse, "coming this fall"... I need to remember what Americans mean when they say "fall".. could be snow falling or leaves falling!

A first Generation Freefall Ride would be awesome. I was lucky enough to ride Freefall at Six Flags Magic Mountain before they took it out.

This is what I think/hope will happen:
- There will be no weather, it takes a long time to develop dynamic weather and I don't think it would be resource friendly.
- Something similar to carnival game booths. This would be something easy that could be added to increase player happiness.
- Parades? This is just my hope, it would be awesome to have parades!
- They will likely add 2 coasters and one or 2 flat rides and give better tools for dark rides.
- more foliage - This has been a running complaint for a while now. I think they will add more foliage options to the base game because it's always been lacking in that department.
I doubt we'll get another huge update like we did with the 2017 Spring and Summer updates, but it would be nice to get some upgrade tools like a spine-fence tool, extra terrain paint slots for custom scenarios and sandbox mode, and a coaster tunneling system. As for rides, 2 or 3 flat rides, a new tracked ride, a super flume/shoot-the-chutes water ride, and a Anton Schwarzkopf steel roller coaster with the option to make it a shuttle coaster as well.
I, for one, miss the random small updates we got from January 2017 leading up the large Spring update where we got a random flat ride per month. I still feel that the game is lacking in flats, but one may disagree by saying it's lacking in other features. So maybe 3 or 4 random minor updates would be great this year with a new flat added into the mix every so many months between waiting for bug fixes, major updates and paid content.
And I agree with marinesquirrel about foliage. They're adding foliage in the DLCs like Spooky and Adventure, but it would be nice if they update in-game foliage to all be flexi-colored including the trees and shurbs. I'm still hoping for some willows and different varieties of flowers.

i would love to see in a summer update:
1. more tree, bushes, rocks
2. slides either custom made with tubing or just a static one. (maybe just a kiddy playground free to use?!)
3. water park, ok i lost hope in that one, but more water features, i really like the way half coaster park half part water land, we have a few of them in denmark, and really enjoy them.

3.2 oohh and a jacuzzi that.
4. stalls with games like shoot the target, throw a ball on the clown, fish a fish,
wheel of fortune and games like that we only got food/drink stall, i want some small games too, that would just make SO much more depth to the game

It was announced on a Stream not long ago that there are NO plans for weather at all. Sadly.
I really hope that's a decision that will change as Jonny Watts himself said at PAX in Germany "No Theme Park Game is complete without weather" and yet here we are... weather-less

Some new water rides would be nice as well. It's a summer update! Surely they'd add a certain type of ride for a hot day?
There's a topic for that here -- feel free to pile on! But yeah, getting some more park skirts (especially a Nothing-But-Ocean) this summer would be much appreciated (assuming the game's playable again by then).

In R C T 3, when you moved the camera to go under water, it would look like you are under water, not like on Planet Coaster where you just see an empty space with a fake water above you
Real water falls too, I can not see how the st is hard to do. Also have it so the water splash is when a shark or crocodile animotronic 'attacks' for example
