i'm not sure if this is built into the game or not, but it would seem right. At the start of each new day that the park is open, one should receive the cost of a park admission for every guest that is still in the park. The guests stay in the park for several days before they leave, should I not receive an admission ticket for each day spent in the part?

No, the game is already easy enough and as any other game of this kind, there is no real day/night cycle integrated into the gameplay.
In the game time, it can take one day to ride just one ride and you would charge your guest again for entry ?
Only thing is when you make a park that goes by entrance ticket sales only and making the rides free like a lot of real life parks operate then you hardly make any profit since a lot of the guests stay in the park for a couple days yet the finance system does count daily running costs of rides yet you dont get daily ticket sales for entrance tickets so you eventually end up making a loss atleast from my understanding this is how it currently works. Maybe they can add this as an option for those that like to use a daily entrance / admission ticket buy option ?
I have completely different experience. I always run a park that entry is paid and rides are free and I cannot even go bankrupt. While at the beggining it is a bit harder and one must be careful, then it goes very easy. Few months ago I actually posted a picture of fin. stats of one of my parks and some were surprised how much I earn. I even overpaid all the employees and was still making LOADS of money (with all rides being free).
