Dark Rides DLC... with the new Thememaker Tool Kit coming out we'll be able to create, share and upload custom animatronic and static props and scenery pieces, so a Dark Rides DLC would make a great addition to Planet Coaster.

* Omnimover (Doombuggies)
* New Dark Ride Type using water
* Gliding Dark Ride Type
* New Dark Ride Type: Walkthrough queue attraction to create mazes, haunted houses, museums, etc.
* New Dark Ride Mechanics
* Ability to make enclosed areas pitch dark during daylight cycle.
* New Particle Effects

I bet we get the long awaited chairlift. I could be wrong. And they just did a Vintage pack so I doubt that they will do another pack with just classic rides this soon. They could do a Jurassic pack, or a Carnival pack with more games for the people to play and win prizes, and more carnival type rides like we got in Vintage.

I think the DLC is kind of a "around the world" theme. We could see in the livestream new shops (japanese, french and italian). This would be great if it's true. But this would mean a lot of new items so not sure [happy]

I'm hoping for
Maybe Illuminated water effects?,
and an easy for "dummies" version of the firework effects sequencer.
A quick view heat / map of the park that shows peep traffic, staff, security cameras
and shops etc. that are operating and where they are?...Open, closed. or broken down etc..
Lastly ,Chair lifts....new and vintage please. [wink]

Hmmm, I don't believe shops where part of DLC's before. Only the small attractions.
So I hope it still isn't the case and that the shop types spoiled are part of the free update but not announced yet.

I'm all into asian, african, european style DLC packs.

Past results don't guarantee anything for the future i guess [happy]

But you could be right. Maybe those food types are even exclusive to the restaurant.
Guess we have to wait and see. But im exited for whatever they might throw at us

Nope, no new licensed IP stuff coming to Planet Coaster for now must've just been a silly chat, it was late in the evening after all!

So what discussions are currently in place?

With the addition of the thememakers toolkit, i think we will be getting more ride content and a slight back seat of scenery

With the additions, we already know about ie Multi Lap coasters I'm hoping that we finally see MACK Multi Launchers or Gerst Infinity Coasters.
Ideally, id like to see the launch and lift features on ALL Tracks. The versatility would be astounding. Having Launched RMCs-Vekomas etc.

What I'm really really hoping for is Custom Height drop towers as this is something that has been sorely missed for far too long now. With Top or Bottom loading options so we could do rides like SubTerra and Haunted mine drop, and Lex Luthor /Zumanjaro. With a choice of gondolas we could also have Ikaros at Grona Lund

2nd Big Hope is the long-awaited and wanted CHAIRLIFT. I'm desperate to incorporate that into Storm Mountain Plateau plus it would provide a very accessible transport option using very little space.

3rd Big Hope is for a Splash Boats/ Chute the Chutes style ride ie Tidal Wave which in turn could be doubled up as an indoor boat ride like POTC.

Whatever new additions arrive I will be grateful nonetheless , but i do think its time to move towards more modern flats -Top Scan, Drop and Launch Towers etc , Madhouses etc
