Every month we put four amazing Planet Coaster creators in the spotlight; each Featured Creator will have one week dedicated to them, their amazing Workshop, and other wonderful contributions to our community. This month we are talking to Kimattacks, _fog, Kombat Wombat, and Tillietwos, who can also be found on the Planet Coaster globe!

Let’s continue with:

Great to have you with us, _Fog, you’ve been doing loads recently! How did you get started with Planet Coaster?
I first saw Planet Coaster during the Beta stages on my friend BlindIRL's stream. I very quickly realised I needed this game in my life. Once the game was released, I picked up a copy, played through the Career mode, and started building small objects and coasters. Since then my projects have become much bigger and I can honestly say I am hooked!

What makes you and your creations stand out?
I sometimes think "Has someone made a __ in Planet Coaster yet?”, which leads me down a rabbit hole of building dozens of small projects which I release as "convenience" workshop pieces, for example the Vending Machine and the Swan Paddle Boats. I make them with the thought that they either save creators a bunch of time by using my blueprints, or give them the inspiration to make their own versions!

What is your favourite creation/video you’ve ever created (so far)?
One of my favourite creations that I've released so far was actually more of an idea. When the River Rapids first came out, I instantly thought of using that as a flowing river effect. I made a little forest stream scene and the community loved it! Since then I've seen some of my favourite creators using rapid rides as streams and rivers, and it gives me the warm fuzzy feeling that they might have been inspired by that scene I made.

Tell us a little about your creative process!
My creative process always starts with a simple idea. "Let’s make a ___". It then gets fleshed out with maybe a theme or an idea before I start building. I usually have pieces or rides in mind but I search for as many reference images as I can get my hands on. My actual building is usually done either on one of my streams or when watching a friend’s stream whilst they play. I feel it makes it a bit more social and I can always bounce ideas off other people if I need to.

What inspires you?
What inspires me? Inspiring other creators. If anything I do in Planet Coaster inspires someone else to make something cool then I would consider that a success.

What is your favourite feature in the game?
I'd have to say the versatility of the pieces we have available is my favourite thing. I've seen people manage to create themes from Oriental all the way to Aztec. The variety and potential that the scenery and building pieces give make for literally infinite possibilities in my opinion. And whilst I struggle with "infinite options", I find ways to narrow it down for myself!

How do you feel about being part of the Planet Coaster community?
I can honestly say that the Planet Coaster community has been the nicest community that I've been part of. There are so many friendly creators willing to share tips, ideas, and time for me, and one of my favourite things is putting on one of my friend's streams and hanging out with people chatting about Planet Coaster and roller coasters in general.

If you were to dress up as a Planet Coaster mascot, which one would it be?
Gulpee Rex, no contest! Who wouldn't want to be a happy dinosaur fuelled by energy drinks running around giving out hugs?!
:rex::smile:

Pass on the praise: which creator do YOU admire?
I need to share a bit of love to a few people really. Firstly BlindIRL for getting me into the game with his Planet Coaster streams, Then BlindIRL & AdfoTV for convincing me to come back to the game after I took a short break. Without those guys, I might not have built some of the cool stuff I have. And another shoutout to the Frontier Development team for this incredible game!

Thank you _Fog for telling us about yourself! Next week we are talking to Kombat Wombat, the name behind many strange creatures on the Steam Workshop...

Nice interview Fog, was wondering how long it would be before the swan boats came up ;)
