Adventure Pack DLC Idea

So from what I've read and what information has been given, Frontier is planning on releasing DLCs for PC. If so, it would be interesting to have a challenge course/adventure attractions introduced into the game. There are numerous flats, coasters, and water rides that could be introduced into the game through expansions and other additions, but it would be something completely new to have challenge/interactive attractions. The only problem that I could see that would prevent such things to make it into the game is coding, animations, management, and the operation of the attractions.

Such attractions included in the DLC:

* Sky Tykes/Sky Trail- a rope course for child peeps as well as for teenager and adult peeps to also enjoy. Special elements to customize our challenge course attractions- quick jumps, walk the plank, glider bench, sun shades, harness rails, tight ropes/rope bridge, multi-level harness (so peeps can travel from level 1 to multiple levels by rope climbs).

* Sky Rail- a new roller coaster type- riders are harnessed on a single rail as a single passenger. The Sky Rail uses stoplight technology which allows the attraction to monitor the rider as they propel down then incorporating a magnetic break system to slow riders mid-course.

* Zip Line- an attraction for thrill seekers. The ability to build launching towers (starting tower being the largest of the towers; would work great for park transportation as well).

With these three different types of attractions we could then combine them to create the ultimate adventure challenge course starting with the Sky Trail combined with the Sky Rail, finishing with the Zip Line, or breaking them into individual attractions.

Other small attractions included- interactive play areas for child peeps- elements included- tunnels, slides, nets, water cannons, swings, jungle gym, along with interactive games, gadgets and gizmos to create the ultimate play fortress/area. A pack that offered new elements to attract guests of all ages that range from thrill seekers to guests who enjoy the gentle experiences our parks have to offer. A relatively small pack with a small price tag.

interactive attractions
you mean like game stalls, skiball, ring toss, etc? or like the way we can drive go-karts? I think it would be awesome if we could play golf with custom terrains [big grin] or how about getting to control a security guard and chase after vandals?

Playgrounds with slides, ropes, and other features would be cool [up] but I'd rather have a chairlift before a zipline

Why a chairlift? Are you suggesting that we should be able to build ski and snowboarding hills?

I have definitely been to at least one amusement/theme park that had a chairlift to get from one side to the other quickly while also getting a nice scenic view. I don't think chairlifts are common in most parks, but they absolutely were in every RCT game and also work as a great way to "lift" guests up to a high place

The more important question is, who has ever been on a zipline at a theme park? [haha]

Well, I haven't but I haven't been to the Pirates Cove in Traverse City since they installed their ropes coarse, but last I checked zip-lines were one of the common features of a ropes course. (Pirates Cove Adventure Golf counts as a theme park company right? )

Oh and another that is probably a theme park attraction: The Dutchman's Deck at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America. (Which is and indoor theme park and confirmation that ziplines are a common feature of the kind of attraction that the OP is requesting.
