The one coaster track that is still missing.

First of all, I absolutely adore this game, I've put 100+ hours into it and I won't be stopping anytime soon.

There is, however, one type of track I am missing.
Intamin & MACK style 3 tube tracks!

Who of you love MACK (launched) coasters like Blue Fire and Helix?
Who of you out there love Intamin (launched) coasters like Maverick or the fabulous Taron?

Helix and Taron are my favourite coasters ever!

It is just crazy to me that there is only one three tube track in the game: the Gerstlauer eurofighter.
But there are so many other 3 tube track coasters out there! I don't want to be stuck to those stupid eurofighter cars! I want proper trains like on MACK mega's or on Intamins. Heck, just add a 3 tube and 2 tube variant to the Invincible coaster and an LSM and I would be happy! The trains still wouldn't really fit (MACK mega's have very distinctive trains and Taron's trains are also very open), but at least it's something!

I LOVE mack mega/launched and Intamin coasters! They are my favorite coaster types by far. I really hope Frontier will add the Mack mega/launched to the game asap, and also give the current intamin giga the 3 and 2-tube tracks so it is more suited to make mega and mega-lite coasters.

Let's hope that if they do decide to add a Mack they make a launch and lift option for one single track instead of having two separate coasters like they did the wing coasters. And also a B&M sit down with some type of launch feature so I can do my Incredible Hulk recreation that I've been dying to do. [happy]

Yes to all!
Also: Schwarzkopf!!!!
It´s really a shame that the most popular and most common coasters are not in the game! We definitely need a 4-by-4 train with lapbars that can perform inversions and has a lifthill as well as launching capabilities.

Do you mean like the Gerstlauer Infinity coaster? Because if so then +1 from me!

Yes, i was begging for Mack since the beginning :D Maybe we will see that in the Future. Also different Powered Coasters would be nice. Like the traditional one or the newer Suspended Version (Mack)

Yes...and No! [tongue]
I guess I was a bit wrong with 4-by-4. What I actually meant was classic Schwarzkopf trains with 4-seater cars (2 by 2), Intamin Looping coasters (launched and chain), Mack Looping coasters (launch and chain), AND wooden coaster trains (Morgan/PTC) . These trains are THE classic coaster train since the 70s until today and the only comparable looping coaster in PlanCo is the classic Arrow train (but these are actually disappearing from parks around the world right now)

But I would love to have the Gerstlauer Infinity trains as well. As I said: There are so many popular current and classic coasters still missing in the game.
We really need a Euro/"Germanic"- addition (Schwarzkopf, Zierer, Gerstlauer, Mack, Intamin).

Oh. Sorry for misunderstanding you. But I always found it strange that we have a coaster based on the RMC T Rex coaster which doesn't even exist yet, but no classics like Schwarzkopf coasters or 4 seater wooden coasters. I'm not complaining, I just find it odd.

I think they wanted to have a mix of both new, experimental and classic. Which they have. They just chose a sample and developed those me thinks. Because when you look at it there is a broad range of Coaster Types in the Game already.

Yes, I think so too. But it just becomes (painfully) apparent what is NOT in the game, when you notice the somewhat unneccessary things that we now have. (The Wendigo/Dragon doublette, the Wingcoaster should not come as two coasters, the T-Rex should not have 6-seater cars, etc.)
Not having the ability to build a Wild Mouse right now is another strange omission.
Let´s hope for the future (pulls out credit card).

Yes agreed, i would much more prefer to have "Track Types" and then after building the Track, choosing the Type of Train to the Track. During the build i might change my mind and want it LSM launched not with a Chainlift (if the Trains are capable of doing that) .

Agreed. It's really cool Planet Coaster contains so many unique coaster types compared to other games, but the downside of this is that those coaster types are very restricting in many ways. Most of them can really only be used for one or two different coaster designs. I mean, technically you could create Mack or Intamin launched coasters with the Torque but that doesn't make any sense if you want to keep things somewhat realistic.

Also, the new boomerang coaster suffers from the same problem. It looks amazing; those Vekoma trains are so sexy! [haha] What a waste we can only use it to make boomerangs. Why can't we make Vekoma loopers or launched coasters?! And the inverted boomerang is once again one of those unique coaster types that can only be used to create that one boomerang model.

On a side not, I believe the concept for the T-Rex track does have 6-seater cars?

It's strange indeed that it doesn't work this way. i kinda get it from a management perspective; different coasters have different purposes. But even then why have two separate kiddy-coasters? Do different coaster types have different base stats or something, so the dragon trains would be a bit scarier than the normal version? For the two different wing-coaster types, does Frontier think having one coaster with both chainlift and launched elements to be unbalanced for some reason? Probably not, because these factors don't matter in the game as far as I know.

Still, I hope they revamp the coaster system (including the coaster builder because a coaster game where you can't make smooth coasters? really??.. [mad]) because it does feel very unfinished right now.

And we can't make family boomerangs!

Oh, I stand corrected regarding the T-Rex train. I just remembered the official presentation video in which they used the classic SCHWARZKOPF train (!) for demonstration. [mouth shut]

I´m also with you with everything else you wrote.

He is talking about the new generation Vekoma Boomerang coasters. Aside from different trains, they also use different tracks and layout that are not possible to make with the current in-game Boomerang.

An update with Mack coasters, continuous roll, and friction sliders would be the best update ever!
