How on earth do you get 2 - 3 -1 pips?

Split your pips into 4, 2, and blank leaving the one you want with 2 blank, the one you want with 3 on 4.

Then tap the blank one twice..hey presto 3, 2, 1..

Took me a while to get that down pat lol.

in your case 0, 4,2...then tap 0 twice

Yes, but you're at 2-2-2 by default... and all you want to do is MOVE ONE PIP from the right to the middle, and to do this it's:-
U
U
R
U
L
L

Really?

and you don't even get a cool "finishing move" animation for doing it ;)

Wouldn't the same effect be got from balancing manually mid flight though?

And would that not be more rewarding (assuming you performed the needed adjustments at the proper times and made no mistakes)?

That's the way I see it, if I get better at adjusting on the fly I will be a superior pilot. I could be wrong though.

Why wouldn't I...? What's the problem you see with it?

It's a real shame it's not possible to put across mood and verbal nuance in forum post's

Honestly mate it was a genuine enquiry not the start of an argument feel free to calm down any time you like
