How on earth do you get 2 - 3 -1 pips?

talking about energy distribution and "pips" are the small dots beneath the battery gauges.

ahhhhh
i dont think there is suppose to be an actual preset i thought you use it when a fight comes around other than that...full speed ahead.

It's a real shame it's not possible to put across mood and verbal nuance in forum post's

Honestly mate it was a genuine enquiry not the start of an argument feel free to calm down any time you like

Because it's the assignment that fits my energy requirements?

I've not put much thought into the pip settings yet to be honest so after seeing 'Mazhurg' and 'Ref Minor's' reply i can see it's an interesting configuration.
Fairly defensive maybe and probably one you could use as an all round fall back.
I tend to use 4 pip's to engines mostly as i spend the majority of my time travelling and that gets me there faster.

You need to have different energy configs:-
eg:-
Docking: 4-2-0
Combat with energy weapons: 1-3-2
etc...

But IMHO, and no one has commented on this, it's all too easy to end up with HALF PIPS to two capacitors. And IMHO these do nothing, you're losing 1/6th of your energy! - http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=41337

I think this is a bug!
