Speculation: Alpha 3 live streams and date

if there is going to be fireworks in the game i wish we could make something like this. time the music and fireworks together!

Find it a bit strange we still didn't here anything for alpha 3.
Would be nice to give some sort off detail that will come in 1 2 3 months ? instead of open mind
Not really I guess, if it's not ready it's not ready (which is the way I'm sure the majority would want it). Clearly though it's not too far away so for now we just keep waiting and try to contain ourself with the excitement as I'm sure these extra weeks have been put to good use [cool]

Last few days Dev's have been hinting that news will come soon. Ofcourse it's just a guess but i think we will get some news later this week, or next week in a negative scenario.
(Just a guess, nothing official)
I kind of doubt that "Well, that's because we're still setting up the fireworks for the big bangs that we're about to hit you all with in the coming weeks*! - BrettC" would indicate anything other than good news. It would have to be borderline sadistic of him to consider the "big bangs" to be news of a delay or something else bad.

If memory serves me correct it was pretty short notice. I think there was less then a week between the original announcement and the first livestream.

We don't get "talked to" anymore than everyone else here. The only so-called exclusive information we get is then released on Facebook the next day anyway...
The store description for the CHC is a big fat lie.

I'd disagree with the strength of that statement; everything that's on the list has happened at some point. What I would say is that now Frontier are in something of a crunch phase, the amount of information that's coming out exclusive to the CHC has tailed off significantly and all we're left with are the sneak peeks. And given they keep getting leaked, I can understand that you might be disappointed that the CHC hasn't lived up to its billing.
What we desperately need in the CHC are:
- More developer Q&As.
- Developer-curated discussion topics.
- Developer blogs.
- New developer diaries. They were wonderful insights into the development of the game and are sorely missed.
This isn't just related to CHC but I think I heard somewhere they filmed another dev diary the other day so we should be getting one soon!!
It's now 8 weeks ago from alpha. When do we get news?
