Additional scenery items and gameplay features

Hi there,

As the title of this post already sort of explains... I'd like to suggest a few additional scenery items and gameplay options in which I think it would be a great feature to the game.
Underneath are a few suggestions per category.

1. New Lighting items
So to start off, I would like to suggest a new floodlight based on the existing wallmounted model but this one however just has 1 spotlight.
I really like the design of it and also the lighting range it has, but the combo of 4 lights makes the existing model quite large.
This I think would be a great feature for structures and such.

Perhaps also a few lamps that are more slim in size which can be used for e.g. lift hills.
Most of the items are quite large and bulky which i.m.o. doesn't always fit well on rollercoasters.

And last but not least, maybe the addition of rope lights in various sizes or shapes.
Again... the ones we sort of already have in the game are nice but a more continuous model would also be very nice I guess.

2. Staff working equipment / scenery
Now this one might sound a bit odd, but let me try to explain. The game recently offered a great new feature regarding staff rooms which I found really nice since it can really change the gameplay.
However... the visibility of the staff is sort of limited to staff buildings and the staff itself. In every themepark I've been, I always noted working equipment like golf carts or Gator vehicles of some kind.

Perhaps the addition of these vehicles together with items like modern wheelbarrows, plate and cleaning-trolleys etc. would really highlight the presence of the staff.

3. Safety first!
Well... if there is one thing every themepark relies on, it's safety!
But... the game does'nt really have items to support this. Perhaps a few emergency exit signs and fire extinguishers will improve safety regulations? [wink]

4. Placeble merchandise / souvenirs
Every themepark is filled with 'em. Giftshops!!! But we cant decorate our shops and stalls with items like mugs, shirts, caps, stuffed animals etc. This would be one of the greatest extras the game can get![yesnod]

5. Tweaks and or extras to existing items
Now... this is more tweaking a few items rather then new pieces.
Although the first one could be a new items though, which is the addition of a blank swing sign.

Second... I noticed that when certain items like lamps and vehicles which have a build in light don't really turn off when you check them on a trigger functionality. They're still sort of lit which I think is a bit weird.

6. New gameplay features
And finally... perhaps a few new gameplay features.

Back in the days of RCT we had our good ol' mister park inspector.
Perhaps the game can have some sort of park executive roles to further enhance the staff gameplay?

What I'd personally would love to see are weather conditions. Rain or perhaps seasonal changes of some sort would be amazing to see.

Another feature would be landscaping maintenance. RCT had lawnmowing and watering plants and such for staffmembers, perhaps something like this can also be implemented in the game?

So thats all...
Reading all of this back I've noticed it's quite a list but I do think some suggestions would greatly improve or redifine certain gameplay elements.
Don't get me wrong as I absolutely adore this game and I'm only suggesting this for means of adding / creating more incredible ways to play this fantastic game!!! So many kudo's to the creators of this game and hopefuly many more DLC's and improvements will be on the way![up][up][up]

P.S. Very curious to see what other people think of these suggestions[happy]

Looks a good list but I've a feeling at least one of the items probably will not be added (at least for some time) which is weather related. Rain would come at a performance cost particularly for those with weaker systems (that's why the rain related pieces we do have are limited to where the item producing it is placed).

Yeah did'nt thought about that yet... Ahh well even without that the game still looks good [wink][up]

I would love to see the janitors pushing the dustcart but that might create a moveable obstacle on a path which give a performance hit. You might be able to make a dustcart and have it parked at the side of a path.

Definite [up] for the placeable merchandise and the blank swinging sign.
