Focus after Thememaster

After you release Thememaster, are you going to shift focus on different aspects of Planet Coaster, such as rides? Thank You!

Im very curious to what the future may hold!! But with the introduction of Toolkit i would be very happy if the main focus of future updates would be rides :D
*fingers crossed for a boatride [tongue]*

this!!! .... focus now on rides ;)

So what, do the devs sort of know what the future plans are but we don't? They probably already know what DLC they are working on next. But we won't know what it is until 3 months from now. But as for the chairlift and mini golf, did the devs even mention if such things are possible? I heard mazes like the old RCT games aren't really possible because of how the guest brain works. You can sort of fake one with paths and hedges or walls, but would peeps actually use it? How do they react to dead end paths?

You can use vista points to lure peeps into dead ends.

to bad the paths are 4m wide.

Vista points are massively underused in my opinion. Not helped by the fact you need a rather wide area to accommodate them otherwise you get a few bugs. Looks really nice having a coaster / tracked ride (ie boat ride) with people stood on a viewing area taking pictures.

I agree. I try to use them to 'direct' my guests to areas less traveled. but I do run into bugs when they seem to get trapped running to the point, to observing it...if there is not enough room. They pattern in they go to the 'post', then turn and to to observe what you linked it to. I haven't tested fully. but I think you can place the post in one area, link to an object really far away, and they will walk to that area, even if its in a different part of the park. Again, seems to depend on the path sizes, if the post is in a plaza, etc. Still need to figure it out totally.

I've had some really weird vista point behaviour this week with peeps getting stuck in an sort off open area. But I remembered the piece that was connected to the vista point was surrounded bij barriers as I didn't want peeps travelling through. Removing one barrier to create an imaginary doorway into that small area surrounded by barriers solved it (but I didn't play long enough after that to really draw that conclusion).

I may have had barriers when the stuck problem was happening, but didn't connect it to that. I will try to test more this weekend

I can confirm everything is working now as it should, nou guests stuck anymore, so for me, barriers caused the problem.

And the guests first move to the vista point, then they search for a nice spot nearby the object to observe it.
