Hello everyone! Who is excited for new meetings with the Planet Coaster community in the year 2019? We know we are excited!

Community Meeting Efteling 2019
Of course we will organise a meeting in Efteling. There are 2 days available on which we can organise this meeting. We would like to know which day is the best option for the community, and therefore we ask you to let us know which day(s) suits best to you by choosing one or both days in our poll.

Please only fill in the poll if you are able to join a meeting in Efteling on one or both days.

Meetings in other parks
Apart from the meeting in Efteling we would also like to know how many community members would be interested in meetings in other parks, in case we are going to organise meetings in those parks. We have created a separate poll for this matter and we ask you to fill that one in as well.

Also in this case; please only fill in the poll if you are able to join a meeting in the parks mentioned in this poll.

Thanks for filling in the polls. We are looking forward to meeting members of the community, again or for the first time, in one or more theme parks in the year 2019!

Hey there,

I've voted, and I'm in for Efteling again for sure. We should celebrate the last chance to ride the Bob again in 2019, until they take it down and build the new Family Dueling Coaster in it's spot for 2020.

Regarding other possible Parks:

https://forums.planetcoaster.com/member.php/377-JoëlPhantasialand: One Day should be good for the Park if it's not unusual crowded, but if you consider this Park, I would suggest to have a look at announcements regarding the new Rookburgh Area with "F.L.Y", the first launched Flying Coaster and a Vekoma Prototype. It's not impossible that they might open it during the 2019 Season but at the Moment there are no announcements on this from Phantasialand.

Toverland: Might be a good Idea too, especially since they opened the new Areas last Year, the Park is big enough to be explored by a larger group and has enough Rides and Attractions and also really good theming to have us busy a whole day.

Walibi Holland: One Day is also enough in this Park, I think what would make this interesting is that they are opening the first RMC Hybrid in Europe wich is a conversion of a existing Coaster, since the only other RMC in Europe today is Wildfire and was build up from the ground. But on the other hand, the Park is far less "fantastical" as the other Parks in the Voting, but sure has it's benefits, especially when it comes to Thrillrides.

Europa Park: Europa Park is without doubt a good choice, they have plenty of rides for every taste and the park is well themed. But it also has a really large footprint and is much more packed with attractions as the Efteling. Not just the 13 Rollercoasters, even all the Water Rides, Flatrides, Shows and Darkrides. I think for Europapark, that 2 days of visiting are absolutely necessary so I dont know if this Park copuld be a bit "too much" for a 1-Day Meeting. On the other hand, some of us have done 2 or more Days before and/or after the "official" meeting day at the Efteling, so it might work out the same for Europa Park.

Every Park on the list is reachable for me and I will try to attend whatever spot is chosen for the 2019 meetings. Only thing that might be able to stop me is my Day Job, but it should be doable if I take just a few days off to stretch the Meeting Weekends a bit. [big grin]

Voted! It might be pretty tight for me as I'm also potentially heading to Phantasialand in late July but I'm hoping I'll make it to Efteling [big grin]

EDIT: Even if this is a suggestion for future meets, can I maybe suggest Liseberg in Sweden? It's an absolutely beautiful park with great atmosphere and attractions (Helix for days) and it's only around 30 minutes or so from Gothenburg airport (I can't remember the exact time frame) :)
