No Big Entrance in Game?

Sorry, perhaps I'm totally on the wrong way, but there is no "park-entrance-building" in the game as seen in the menue - I only have the small entrances. Do anayone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

Thank you... but: well, that is the only option? By watching the game-graphic there semms to be a standard entrance....

there use to be entrance in the alpha but everyone wanted to create their own so they removed it and now we build our own.

Go to the steam workshop and start looking for entrances if you dont want to build your own

Still doesn't make any sense to have removed the pre-built entrance. They could have had both blueprint entrances and custom options, just like all the other buildings. [rolleyes]

The results of the alpha test in action. None of the devs seem to have questioned what it meant that alpha was stacked with people whose chief obsession is creating their own buildings, and to what degree that represents the wide-release audience (and does not).

click the entrance and click "edit the building", then go to "shop and facility" tab, click "entrance" button, and you can find extra entrance pieces to add into

If you want an entrance, you can just download one in the store. I don't know what you mean with the wide-release audience. I see what you're implying, but that's just nonsense imo. No one benefits from a prebuilt entrance.

Not the building lovers, they want to build their own. Then there are the coaster builders, that only care about one ride, which they theme the way the want to theme it. They'd hate a modern entrance building behind their medieval theming. We also have the people that do not care about buildings at all. They only place paths, rides and shops. They wouldn't miss an entrance. The last group is a group of players that likes buildings, but do not like or are not able to build their own. Well, these people will download a shop building, a coaster station, a main street and so on. And what can they also download? That's right, an entrance...

I think it's quite weird to say the dev's didn't question the effect the removed entrances would have. You're impying they didn't thought about it. As if one dev said: "Well, let's remove those things, the folks on the forum don't like them!". And all the others went: "Okay, we'll do so in a second, just have to finish our sandwiches!". They have thought about everything, so they've thought about this matter too. And like I did, they came to the conclusion that prebuilt entrances don't serve any purpose, other than limit creativity of those who want to be creative. Give me one reason why someone should want a prebuilt entrance, where they have no choice in how it is going to look or where it will be placed. Do those people also want a prebuilt park? Cause those are in the store to![wink]

That's what the OP meant with: "small entrances". He's talking about an entire building,.

I wrote that in another thread but i guess i comes down to the same solution i think.
The game would benefit from a menue for the terrain before you start, like many other games do and there you could simply add the option for entrance if someone want's it, even with different themes.
This would be mostly for players who are more interested in the management of the park than actually building everything by them selves and sculpt the whole terrain.

I still disagree with this. Why would somebody who's only interested in the management of the park want an entrance building? Why would they want a park without any buildings except for one at the entrance? They either want multiple buildings to create a realistic looking park (so you have to download or build them anyway) or they want none and they have fun with the management side of the game.
