I would assume this is ok. The rules only disqualify use of copyrighted content, so as long as the logo or name isn't copyrighted, it's should be ok. Would be helpful to hear from some one from frontier though just to make sure.

I hope you're right ! In the rule there are too : "Your ad must not contain any out-of-game content." .... so what if logo or mascot are just a draw thing ? it's considered like "something out of game" or not ?
Please light up about this ! 15 june incoming quickly !

Yes that is fine! That's your own creative content, would love to see that!

With out of game content we meant: no Google images, any copyrighted gifs etc.

Based on the reply from Bo;

Yes, you can use logos if you have created them by yourself. What you cannot use is copyrighted logos/images and logos/images found on Google. Self-created logos are allowed, as that is your own creative content. Bo (and the rest of the team & community) would love to see that.

Hi to everybody. I looked for the projects already published on YouTube, and it seems most of them use copyrighted music (sountracks or other pieces). I thought copyrighted stuff was not allowed, or am I wrong ?

I hope Bo can clarify this :)

Some of them are publicly available on YouTube. Frontier will show a selection of the videos when they announce the winner of this competition.

Please remember that in order for your video to take part in the competition, you will need to submit it as per the rules;
