Bus is too wide, car too long

The studios pack bus is 3m wide, not including side mirrors. This is wider than real life buses and coaches, which cannot exceed 2.5m width. For obvious reasons - they would not safely fit in many lanes on the road. The length of the bus is fine, and conforms to standard bus length.

With the cars, the reverse is true. Width conforms to real life average size, but the length is too long.

Even "family size" sedans are not 5.5m long, as 'Car 2' is. Car 1 is the shorter of the two, but is still 5m long, exceeding even a large sedan length. Given car 1 seems to be aiming for a "mid size" car, the proportion is way off.

Not a big deal, but given the accuracy of the other assets, I thought I'd mention this. I discovered this while making a replica bridge with real-life dimensions and lane widths. I noticed the bus didn't fit in the lane, so I've had to ban buses from using this bridge. Which is funny because the real life bridge also bans buses and trucks, not because of lane width, but weight.

Aren't there any other, more important problems with the game that need to be solved? ;)
Is he not allowed to post this suggestion?

  • Minor issues are still issues -- any variation on "wait till we get the major stuff fixed to mention that" leads to "no matter what gets fixed there's always 'new' complaints!"

  • Minor for one person isn't minor for another -- plenty of people have problems with bad scaling, from mild annoyance to fingernails-on-a-blackboard inducing rage-quit. Giving us a 3D-app standard scale widget for non-gridded stuff would help without making more work for the art-devs.

He doesn't imply that. See his wink...
Actually I thought the same… A lot of animatronics and other objects are aswell out of proportion… It's not a bug, but intended design.
Everybody knows that this game has urgent issues / real bugs to be solved right now that affect the game-play. Like crashes when using X-mode in big parcs, white chimneys… etc

The OP had an issue then others reply with sarcastic comments/ones that fundamentally aren't related to what they posted at all including what is in effect spamming of their own problems they feel are more 'important'. If it's not an issue for you don't reply, it's quite simple. [ugh]

LOL, the replies. [cry]

Like I said, "not a big deal". My thread falls under the banner of "idea", a casual observation I find interesting.... It has nothing to do with forced perspective, it's to do with the asset dimensions being slightly off.

Some of you may not be aware that the asset dimensions in this game are often very accurately designed. For example, the most common car wheel diameter in the real world is 15 inch or approx 40cm (the inner wheel section not including tyre). Wheels in the game are more or less this size, and this is great! It's why I was surprised the vehicle length and bus width is a bit off.

Where did I write that he's not allowed to post his suggestion? Pls, don't distort the meaning of my opinion. Thx.

Saw the post on my phone, mistook the wink for something else. My bad. He said it wasn't that important to me, so I thought any suggestion and improvements are good to see.
Hopefully a lot of ideas here will come in future updates, I see a lot of good ideas, so I hope they will do something with them.

This one is a minor one, for me I find a lot of objects a bit to large, but that's my feeling.

It´s not about these assets, but in scale in general. There were minor issues being reported since early bird... I don´t think anything can be done now, but still better to point it out that ignore it, or saying "who cares"

all items have to be in scale w/ other items. its not only about 1. They would have to shrink everything else.
