I think this is more of a failed attempt of hiding the horrible judders/frame rate drops by using "motion blur".

Yeah, that doesn't work.

The "stutter" or hiccup is actually worse for me. It happens even more frequently than before.
This is unplayable for me.
Edge scrolling is still broken.

Suposedly something I have harped on since April, stacking rocks, can be done now.
I didn't even bother trying it. I looked around real quick, grabbed some video, and closed it down.

My park is full of a bunch of creepers...

They all look like they have serious neck problems or are incredibly depressed, but then I guess I would be if I was in that game.

Right - every video I have seen since this latest update seems to show the game sticking and stuttering more than before. Have I just seen bad videos or has it actually got worse?

And the blur effect is pitiful. It's either a really, really crappy idea from an artistic point of view, or if it was conceived to mask performance issues, then it just doesn't work. It makes me feel more like I'm having a stroke than riding an exhilarating coaster!!

We all knew that, that's why we've been over here and playing Planet Coaster all this time!! But clearly quite a few over there didn't realise it in time. I think it's obvious the vast, vast majority have now though - the reaction to this update is pretty much zero. Who cares? Maybe about 5 people over on the RCTW forum, but there is no remaining user base really. In games industry terms, by really any measure, the game is well and truly over.

One day, the boss ask him to take all the "paelleras" (the large shallow frying pan, where paella is prepared), 20 in total, and drop them in the sea, clinging to a rope, so that during the night (thanks to the salt) all the dishes can be "self cleaned". Then the next day, his boss told him "Risitas, wake up, go take the Paelleras, guests arrive soon", and when it reaches the edge of the beach, he realizes that (This is when he knocks on the table) ... The tide took everything during the night [big grin]

I'm bad in english, and bad to tell stories ... sorry.
But basically, I think it's that.

So, I've been away for a few months and haven't really been following either Planet Coaster or RCTW. After checking out some of the latest videos, Planet Coaster is looking as amazing as ever while RCTW still looks like complete garbage. Apparently Mattlab left Atari? Lol, can anyone share any details about that??

I see B3DD03 has been kind enough to share it over at the Atari forums... How thoughtful :)

I think it might actually have been composed with a certain RCTW fan in mind actually!

Tisk tisk tisk... At this Point it is not necessary to Poke the remaining Fans. Let them be. If they want to die in that "Battle", let them. They have it bad either way. A crappy Game and sometimes "smug" Fans of Planet Coaster. This reminds me so much of the Console Wars when i was young.
