I have a i7 motherboard and a msi nvidoa gtx 980 ti my park had around 2800 people and it's currently at 30 fps. I hope they will stabilize the fps and improve performance: )

The game really looks amazing though!
After a couple of days playing with the coaster editor i managed to get some really nice coasters! However I would like to see some more elements like half loops and be able to adjust the length and height of the loops and corkscrews. But I'm sire we will be able once the coaster phase is launched.

I also hope they make a first person walk mode. To be able to walk through your own park is something I miss in all theme park games. :D the details in this game are amazing.

Frontier you go guys! I am really impressed. Even though it's only alpha I keep on playing to get the maximum out of it.
Cant wait for the next phase!

Cheers mike

For the persons above me worrying about the specs - for me between Low and High there is no real difference. It still looks amazing! Happy gaming

I hope so too. However, you know that you can click any peep in the park and see through their eyes by clicking on the attached camera right?

this game doesnt run on my alienware laptop, so im going to guess, no?.... my specs for that laptop are

i7 2.7ghz quad core
8gb ram
gtx 460

hope this helps

Peep cam is great -- but I agree, we also need the ability to walk around as a visitor in first person mode -- on our own. We can explore people's parks the way we want. The camera gets locked onto any place "walk-able" like paths, queues to board rides, etc.. The view would be the same height as an adult peep.

HELP ME!!!!

Please help me !! Im from mexico and i buy de alpha but why i dont have shops and rollercoaster tools?? I only have atractions , paths and stuff :(

Okay, I want in on the alpha!
But, my graphics card is kinda... ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎.
Will the game be able to run on a GeForce GT 740M?
RAM 8GB and intel i7 4700MQ 2,4GHz

This game looks so amazing! I really want to get my hands on it right now. However, looking at my specs on my desktop and I fear I may be out of luck with regards to my video card. The requirement says:

•Nvidia GTX 560 / ATI Radeon 7850 Graphics card with 2GB of Graphics Memory or better

Specifically what I have is:

Windows 10
I have an I5 with 3.10ghz processor
16 GB of RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7500 series Graphic Card

I'm not much of a computer hardware/ graphics card expert but am I correct that I will not be able to run this game because of my graphics card? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,

I am running following setup:
- Windows 10
- i5.2500k @ 3,3Ghz
- AMD Radeon 6900
- 16Gb RAM

And I am running the game on medium settings without issues and the game still looks amazing. So, I have little bit worse specs than you have :)

Thank you so much for this game!! I'm a huge huge rct fan , and like you already knew rctw s*cks, This game made my day :D Please keep up the good work :D
I love playing it :D

Okay, so my laptop specs don't meet the expectations.
I took a little €67 euro risk, and just bought the early alpha!
It was worth it! The game runs super smooth, even on my lesser graphics card.
So, anyone doubting to buy the pre alpha because of the specs? Don't! You'll miss out on the perfect theme park builder! (okay, I wouldn't recommend it if you have like 4GB of RAM or something)

My Average Specs:

i5 750 @ 2.67ghz
8gb RAM
Radeon r7 200 series (2gb)

And my pc runs this with all the rides available, a million and one rocks, trees etc, fully loaded the sandbox area, max settings, smooth as eggs, only occasional lag is if i try and move a large building/coaster but doesnt affect the gameplay

my pc also runs stuff like the division and tomb raider etc on high settings, which is madness lol.

really hope they don't dramatically change the requirements at launch, im worried about the introduction of water etc, but saying that, can always drop to medium if it did pose an issue. n RAM is a cheap fix

Best creative game ive ever played. ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ you can create football stadiums if you put the time in, literally limitless

Give us more dedicated scenery and i'd love a log flume/wooden coaster in the alpha. they're my 2 big wishes to come soon haha, aswel as water n possibly terrain!

Thank you very much for finally bringing a new game to the Roller Coaster Tycoon series. Like many others I have purchased and played the entire series (including all expansions) for many hours over many years. I have been waiting for the RCT3 successor for a long time and so I am very happy to finally be getting one.

Very close to considering the pre-release version, I really want to try my hand at this. I'm just curious if anybody could help answer system requirements question?

I'm seeing a bunch if Intel i# version CPU's, but what about a dual quad xenos? This should work, no? Technically, I bought a early 2008 mac pro with dual quad with 24GB of RAM, and I switched it to a Windows 10 machine. It's using a a 5 year old nVidia Geforce card that is capable of running RCT3 pretty well. I don't remember the version though :(. Do you know if this should handle the game okay? As in, will the extra horse power make up for the fall back of the GPU?

I am planning on switching out the video card to something beefier, and could use some advice as I haven't played games in a while. I mostly designed on this computer and used it as a media server to crunch videos. Now it's a home computer. And no, I didn't' spend thousands. I just spend about 500$ and added a solid state drive to it. Works like new :D

The first limitation you need to answer is can the graphic card you have now support DX11? There is the chance you have DX11 driver on you computer, but that is only software and won't make the card support DX11 if it doesn't. The first Directx 11 cards were out in 2009, so I think your card is too old (I bought a new computer then also, and my card is also too old, so we can be sad together.[yesnod]).

Your CPU is probably good enough for basic parks at the moment. The game is in Alpha at the moment, so performance optimizations are still being worked on. Do you know the speed of the quads, I assume they are good, but even the fastest 2008 processors will be outspeeded by the newest fastest ones. I'd assume the game is threaded and will take advantage of both your processors, but I'm not sure.

Thanks! So i found out I have the Geforce 9400 GT, and my dual quad CPU is 2.8Ghz. I'm thinking that I may need a better video card too...
