Invisible Entrance/Exit Buildings

Hi :) Angelis thought i should make a new Thread about this:

My Idea was to have the Option to Toggle the Entrance and Exit Buildings on or Off. The Themeing Opportunity would be really great. It would be nice not to have to build around existing Booths, but to make your Station like you would want them to look. I think a Checkbox in the Settings Tab of the Attraction would be nice.

+1! [up][up]

Agreed on this one too! In RCT3 I more frequently than not use the "Invisible doo-dahs" that take the fences and booths away from the rides so that I can truly customise the ride. Given that it seems like they are going to give us "just" a counter as a shop and allow us to build around it to suit our tastes, I'd be amazed if this isn't part of it too...

To add on to this - I think it would be really great to take a leaf out of Theme Parkitect's book and to have the entrance booth parallel to the ride, so you can have the queue line parallel as well. This is what I mean.

As you can see it's aligned, and there is no requirement for additional theming. For those of us who want to charge per ride and to maximise attractions and profits, this would be much appreciated.

^^ I think Parkitect missed the opportunity to simply do that..:

But in the first place I hope Planet Coaster do not have to deal with these horrendous grey and square clearance boxes.

Some places don't have Queue Lines at all. The Ride is surrounded by a fence and only has one opening for both entering and exiting, a few may have separate openings. The Guests just form a line around the fence. Some Guest just stand around and wait in random spots around the fence or anywhere they find shade on a sunny day. This means they stand/sit in the grass around the rides. Guest don't always stay on the path IRL like they do in the games.

There are Small Signs that have Enter/Exit hanging on the fence. In Game, the Guest should react to those signs and the ride operator to let them in or out. But if the ride is in operation, the guest just can't walk in even tho it's the entrance.

In addition, I'd love to see employees at the attractions, maybe fit in some animations of kids trying to jump the queue and being send back to the end of the line, things like that.

It happens. Many a time I had to Shove Kids and a few adults out of the way of the on coming Park
Train and Pull Kids out of the Kiddie Boats because they would try to jump in while they were running, or Tell Parents to "Get Off The Kiddie Ride!", Keep an eye out for people jumping on/Off the train while in motion, Argue with Parents that their Child is Not Tall (smart) enough to ride Alone "They were tall enough last year" or "The Other Operator let them"...(Dodgem/Bumper Cars being the worst for this).

Yes, great little addition. And maybe employees that check seat belt in coasters...

If you look closely at Dev Diary 3, you'll notice there actually aren't any booths, just a gate into the ride loading area, so this thread is basically asking for something that's already been sorted :p
