My criticism is very constructive.
That's one opinion, yes.
My criticism is very constructive.
So once again you're back to telling people what they should or should not buy.
My advice would be to stop doing that.
That's one opinion, yes.
uhuh.no hyperbole, no accusations. ... My criticism is very constructive.
You are conflating 2 different things, and it's hilarious.
1) a developer seeing falling sales of a line of products, then potentially changing their output after investigation
2) a random throwing insults in a thread that the devs won't read
If they dont read it, how do you know what they can and cant take?If the devs do not read it, then it means they cannot take criticism.
uhuh.
"Shame on you fdev"
Noted. I won't, because it is not telling people what to do. I simply share my opinion that doing otherwise will cause more half baked content in the years to come.
If they dont read it, how do you know what they can and cant take?

Oh, so you're not telling, you're just suggesting?
Suggesting that if you do not show the company you are not ok with the way they handle things, we all get worse content.
no hyperbole, no accusations. You really are jumpy. I simply speak my mind. My criticism is very constructive.
Instead of what you posted, people would be more sympathetic, understanding, or less inclined to climb on your back about it.Title: No happy with my cosmetic purchase
Body:
Hi Frontier,
I am not happy with my cosmetic purchases, in particular the ship kits.
I feel that the product provided is below the quality expected of Frontier Developments.
Unfortunately I cannot get a refund, so I have instead decided to let you know I'm not happy.
A number of things bother me with the kits, namely:
- Ship kits aren't consistent (in both shader and geometry) with paintjobs.
- Ship pieces are badly aligned, and are seemingly thrown in without any real attention to detail.
- Compared to the rest of the ship, the quality of the pieces are far below the same level of quality and detail.
I ask that Frontier revisit existing ship kits or going forward make the necessary improvements to bring these cosmetics up to
the standard I, and probably many others, expect.
Regards,
Lex Fernetti
P.S: If any Cmdr would like to discuss this, please feel free to do so in a polite manner. Thanks![]()
You ARE saying they should be "ashamed", you DON'T think this is an "accusation", but you ARE "criticising"?not an hyperbole to me. To me, 8 pounds for a bunch of triangles not connected to the main mesh and with shaders problem is something to be ashamed of. Accusation is a big word, I am criticizing their work.
Yeah, you can colour it any way you want but you're telling people not to buy ship kits in order to back up your little crusade.
And that's how someone might comment on the perceived problem reasonably. Some of the kit stuff does look a bit ropey. Nothing wrong with hoping that FD would sometimes put a bit more effort into them.

As an aside, if you had perhaps gone with this:
