Shame on you fdev

Ok, you don't care what others think.
Consider this though:

Which is more likely to occur:
  1. A mod will close this thread as it will ultimately end up in name-calling,
  2. A dev will see this thread and go "Hey, OP right!"
Now look at my suggestion for your OP, and imagine that instead of putting you down, or telling you that you're over-reacting, people are agreeing with you; and the discussion is helpful, constructive and friendly. What do you think is more likely to occur? 1, or 2?

Even if you don't care what others think, writing a less agressive, less accursatory, less dismissive post is more likely to stay open and get the attention you desire; as to one that opens with "shame on you", "white knights" and "general displeasure about life, the universe and everything".

You see, I do not care about people being sympathetic or understanding. I do not seek to change people's mind. I simply speak my mind. If you think about the issues I am trying to highlight and think again about it, then I am more than happy.

Denying the kits are low effort overpriced stuff is a perfect example of white knight mentality. I disagree with anyone who disagrees with me on this topic because they are part of the reason why ED is not as good as it should be.

Excuse me, but did i say at any point i disagree with the point that there are issues with the kits?

The topic is valid. My beef is with how it was presented.

"Agree with me or you are wrong"

Mine is constructive feedback, I told them they should improve the way they connect the geometry of the kits to the main ship mesh. But if you keep ignoring these issues, it will always be sloppy. And kits are one example. ED is full of half baked stuff.

If that was all you did then it would have been fine, if it had been presented as well worded and respectful feedback.

As I explained previously if you cared to read, a company keeps doing what pays until the customers either stop paying or complain about the services they are paying.

Then, as others have stated, vote with your wallet. If enough people agree with you that way, then the devs will pay attention.

If people keep buying, it means they don't consider it a particularly big issue.

At the end of the day, if people are already not worked up about this, then your posts aren't going to get them worked up about it either.

If i spot an issue with a ship kit i bought, i might report it, if it bothers me enough.

I commend your patient attempts at helping the OP improve their communication skills o7

edit: ...although those attempts appear to be futile :(

It is not true that I do not care what others think. Otherwise I wouldn't even have started a thread.
I wanted to make people think twice about ignoring sloppy work.

1) very well, still I have voiced my concerns.
2) As I said, I do not care about being right or not. If fdev understands there is a part of the community unhappy with the way they make their kits, I have a chance they improve them.

If I speak my mind, I know already there will be people agreeing and others who do not. For me the discussion is still helpful either way.

I do not understand why you attack me and you do not respect my opinion. It seems like you do not like criticism.

1) I'm not attacking you. I'm crtiquing your posts, especially in terms of style, agressiveness, and abusiveness, as well as the dismissal of anyone's opinion who doesn't match your own.

2) I have nothing against your opinion. You're welcome to it, and i will respect it. However, i respect the style of your posts about as much as you apparently respect the devs or the opinions of others - ie: zero.

I believe many of your posts were simply aiming at clubbing me for my opinions. Always straying away from the point I raised. I do not believe you respect my opinion, otherwise you would avoid using memes and the likes.

Well, perhaps if you went back, edited your OP, you could have both form and substance! A win-win!

Not correct. It would have the form YOU wish. But I am not you, and I think my point was made well with the form I employed.

Not once did i club you for your opinion. If you think i did, please let me know and i'll take a look and reconsider.

Did you miss the bit where literally no-one is saying the kits are fine as they are? Because I think you missed it.

You're not wrong. But your method of communicating your grudge is atrocious.

And I think you missed the core of my critique, which was about push the devs to make things better. I doubt you missed it because of my way of communicating.
