Fdev has said there is more than one way to stop Thargoid incursions.
We are using Eagle Eye to determine where the Thargoid's will attack next, going to the system and killing Scouts to stop incursions.


We know that previously UA’s could damage stations and MA’s could fix stations.
We know that a pre-delivery of MA could previously stop a UA attack
We know that Ancient artefacts annoy the Thargoid’s
(Drop one in a Thargoid Map room and you will see what I mean!)


So……… TIN FOIL TIME


What if we can use “Ancient artifices” to Inoculate a station/system ahead of a Thargoid incursion?
To this end, we have begun collecting “Ancient Relics” from ruins sites and are loading cutters to the brim ready to drop in a target Station / System TBC
We are calling on CANONN affiliated pilots and our fellow pilots to assist in the experiment.


Go to a ruins site - Example:- Synuefe XR-H D11-102 and fill up on “RELICS”

Closest is Synuefe XR-H d11-102


Then Await Further Instructions

Be aware that hauling Relics will gain attention from those nasty pirates, so watch your six. (Escort ships are welcome)

If you don't have a big ship, then you can still help by collecting Relics for the bigger hauliers.

Update:-

We are collecting until the 29th / 30th Then hopefully will have a target system to sell in.

This can be done in a PG or Private or Open group and any platform.

do you just want "Relics" as dropped by towers.

Or do you want urns, caskets etc.?

Also just thought on this theme. What about dumping this in an AX conflict zone or at NH Signal sources? Do you think that would "scare" them off?

Now have 20 plus commanders on the list, im guessing at least 5000 relics will be available to be dropped on target :) We have no idea how many we need

Sorry to say we failed :-(
With more than 6000 relics delivered and the station still burned, so that doesn't work

So if there is another way to stop Thargoid incursions I'm open to suggestions

I had a similar thought. Given uniquely passive response of Thargoid interceptors to the presense of meta alloys in a ship's cargo hold (perhaps signalling to the Thargoid that the ship is a friend?), perhaps the same response could be induced in to a starport?. Alternatively, could the mass delivery of meta alloys directly to the interceptors have a passifing effect?
