CG for a mining station between Sag.A* and Beagle Point

I was thinking that it would be nice to have a small station on the far side of Sagittarius A*, a place where you can have a shower and save your exploration data.

Is anyone else's interest to build a small mining station between SagA* and Beagle Point since with DW2 we're already there?

Only few limited available services:
-Refuel
-Repair
-Refill
-Universal Cartography
and of course commodity market since it's a mining station...

We have too many on the way to colonia and nebulae near the bubble but none beyond sagA*. I would be happy to exchange few of them for one halfway between SagA* and Beagle Point

It would only make sense if there was an actual reason for mining out in the middle of nowhere. As it stands now, there's nothing you can mine out there that you can't find in the Bubble, so it'd just be a service plaza on the Sol - Beagle Point expressway.

If I had decided I was off the grid, exploring and showing total disregard for the fate of mankind in the bubble, being the purist I am, I would be loathe to accept any stations that pollute the darkness where I roam. However as it stands I need a flashlight just to go to Maia, and a teddy bear.

being that we just got one at sag A, I think it will be a while. Id imagine one would be at BP before they put one in the middle of nowhere.

I concur. I thought that the new mining mechanics and discoveries were supposed to be giving us actual reasons to mine outside the Bubble, but alas.

Used to be a 130000LY+ round trip to sell exploration data from Ceeckia ZQ-L c24-0 and beyond. That's Beagle point for you youngsters. What is it now? Half that? I'm against more stations and more shrinking the black, sorry. :)

On a related note, I want a T-shirt that says 'I went to Ceeckia ZQ-L c24-0 before it was famous.'

I really like that feeling when you are beyond Sag A. It's a feeling of being totally on your own. I understand why you would want a station between Sag A and Beagle but I feel like something unique would be lost.

I think a way station would be reasonable, doesn't have to do much.

Has anyone heard what that mega-ship we were funding at Sag A is doing?

Meanwhile I'd personally I'd like to see outpost like stations with request-able refuel and repair services from the contacts panel and delivered via limpet.
That would be handy in general and in situations like this you could have a small outpost able to service all sizes of ships but still limit full interaction.
Probably have to consider if and how you'd want to do module repair...

As an aside I'd say that it is remarkable how far humanity hasn't expanded.
If you think about the combined industrial base of the bubble and the number of humans there in we realistically ought to have stations all over the place by now and especially anywhere of note.
