It's still early, but I think I'd like to see pertinent graphics changes to the presentation of black holes and Sag A* in particular with respect to accretion discs when the first-ever photos of Sag A* are released to the public tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. EDT (Eastern Time, North America). What say the rest of you???

Remember the image(s) from the EHT are of radio frequencies - not an optical image - so no need for knicker-twisting in Elite's galaxy.
^This. Scientifically it is an achievement, but nobody can 'see' Sag A* in visible light from here. The image of Sag A* is modeled as we think it would look, regarding to the current theory. A very similar view was used in the movie Interstellar. In this movie Kip Thorne, one of the authorities for black holes (and worm holes) was the scientific advisor, and they did use computer simulations to get it right.
For every one who is interested in this I can recommend Kip Thorne's book 'The Science Of Interstellar'. Good read and very interesting insight in the making of a movie.
