Elite's Next Technology Breakthrough!

My ships already have AG when in supercruise, provided by the FSD. I just "shift the frame" a bit more under the ship than over, and poof, gravity!

I can prove my ships have AG - just look at the passenger cabins in the outfitting screen. It's obvious they are designed with gravity in mind!

Oh........so I can get rid of my magnetic boots now?

Btw, the Earth is round, just like a pancake, duh!!

Well due to the porous nature of the dryer bits, commonly referred to by fools as 'land', the space vacuums attached to the underside pull things down through the many tiny holes.
You can prove this dead easily with the sort of science they don't teach at schools by virtue of the vast conspiracy started by a Scottish Cloakroom attendant Angus McCoatup.
What you need to do is pee on your neighbour's garden and watch as the water falls through the holes in the dryer bits under the layer of moisture.
My neighbour is in on the conspiracy and has chased me off his property a number of times. He even uses the secret police against me. They've been round my house several times spouting off about "Urinating in a public place" "Breach of the peace" "Aggravated wetting" and such. All sirens and flashing lights. Best place for the secret police to hide is in plain sight!
This is also why Ostriches have long necks. It's because their heads get sucked into the dryer bits by the space vacuums.
Boom! Now that's proper science! Bite me 'NASA'!!
Maybe you should try peeing on Phobos.

Hah, I know what you mean, everything always revolves around me after a couple Scotches too.

Oh, that's not what you meant right?.....sorry.
I'll get my coat.

Unfortunately some here don't need a drink to think the game should revolve around their needs and wants and only their needs and wants.

Rep for making me laugh on this Friday morning :D

No, there's no gravity in normal space, thus the need for rotational stations. The FSD only generates gravity when it is engaged. That's why I fly my passenger ships very gracefully when entering and leaving a starport, so not to subject them to harsh G-forces (unlike the idiot NPC pilots who crush the bones of their passengers).

The world is not flat. It's perfectly obvious it's a cube, or maybe a tetrahedron🙃

Seriously though, there is no artificial gravity. There is gravity and the absence of gravity. So far we have been able to produce gravity through large spinning stations. Is there a way to create it through a ship mountable device? Not that we know of at this time, but only The Braben knows what the future holds?

No need for artificial gravity. The Remlok suit simulates gravity with automated directional air thrusters that are synchronised with the orientation of the crew member in relation to the floor of the ship.

These thrusters work in combination with accelerometers and location trackers in the suit to apply "downward" pressure relative to velocity away from the established ship floor.

Evolution proves the earth can't possibly be flat anyway...if it was, cats would have knocked everything on it off the edge ;)

I always wondered where my passengers went and leaving only a bloody mess at arrival.

I'll get my boots now....

Dodecahedron. :)
