EdzUp Apr 12, 2019 #1 I have finally started engineering my Cobra MK3 after unlocking Felicity Farseer. It's a interesting thing and something I have been avoiding for ages, I can recommend doing it for everyone.

Firebeard Apr 12, 2019 #2 It's good fun and to be honest doing it "piecemeal" has made the game a bit more interesting for a while. I'm pretty much finished with the privateer barring a couple of modules it's a fun ship if you engineer for speed and temp. Mine runs 440ish boosts 630(ISH) has a 45ly max range (since I added the SRV) and runs at 14% temp - I love her so much

Factabulous Apr 12, 2019 #4 So what the OP is saying is, I've been put off a large part of the game by salty engineering talk, but actually it's fine. Interesting...

rrobes R Apr 12, 2019 #5 I did engineer everything I own, but now I avoid it. I've got five ships, all done, some stored modules are still stock. I haven't purchased any of the new ships as I cringe at the thought of engineers. It's been an incremental building of dislike, the last aggro coming with the material exchange rates, really left me peeved.

VR jefranklin18 Apr 12, 2019 #6 The engineers are fine as long as you don't feel the urge to God-mod everything you own. If you do that, then you will be grinding mats forever and that is where the space madness kicks in, although brokers can help a little.
