Help with Imperial Ranking/Anaconda

Hey, so I've gotten back to playing the game and I remember why I last quit it... I was getting frustrated by not being able to advance past the Imperial rank of Master.
I have 100% rank and 75% Friendly Reputation. I've got an anaconda ship... What am I supposed to do ? I just can't find rank up missions on Any imperial war. I know it's also not a fresh 100%, I've grinded a lot last time.
Please someone help me figure it out. It's really annoying : (

Exchange your ship for something smaller.

It won't help you get your rank, but you'll have more fun on the way there. Well, in a way it could help, because it'll give you access to more stations. But primarily it'll be fun.

(I think, unless it's changed recently, that getting ranking missions is just luck of the draw - it'll happen eventually, but every % you add to your rank over 100% is carried over to the next level, so it's not wasted effort.)

Unless things have changed since 3.3 ...........

Rank is saved, and if you are doing missions that contribute to the next ranking but don't show in the total beyond 100% they will contribute to tne next rank once you have it.

It is best to pick an Imperial 'base' to work from and do missions locally, not wandering randomly around Imperial space. Keep it fairly tight where your reputation is building. A smaller ship will allow you to deliver to outstations (pick a Python, or Krait, for example) even if it is "only" data. Data missions are useful for stacking together, or in conjunction with a delivery of cargo. When at 100%, as you now are, one of the smaller factions will offer you a promotion mission. You just have to keep an eye open in the lists.

Well, at the same time I've farmed a lot of passangers missions with Rep+++ but the problem is I just can't find a station to give me the Rank up missions.
Can someone tell me a station? Thank you.

There is less chance of the missions coming up if you are in your Anaconda. The missions might be to an Outpost, which requires a smaller ship. You should change ship to boost your rank mission chances in my opinion. (Unless you are deliberately trying to complete all this in the Anaconda, of course.)

It doesn’t work like that. It’s tied to faction, not station. You need to find a local Imperial-affiliated faction that likes you (friendly or higher) and keep grinding on it. The rank-up mission will pop up, I promise you.

This could be it. I remember lots of ranking missions were deliveries to outposts in my Python.

To repeat for emphasis find a location with several Imperial minor factions and work for them all once you are friendly or better with them the rank missions will appear at the top of their mission lists usually relatively soon but the more factions you are in with the more chance of an acceptable mission appearing.

All you need to do is a Google search; you will easily find what you want. You can also do a forum search.

This question has been asked and answered time and time again; pick up and stack missions from HIP 8444 to a nearby system.

Go there and see if it still valid, I did a run there for Duke some time ago.

Find a burning station with Imperial minor factions, fill your Anaconda with economy passenger cabins then ferry passengers between burning station and rescue ship, choose Rep+++ instead of other rewards whenever possible, make sure to equip heat sinks.

I am currently in Devane rescuing from Davies City, there are four Imperial factions present in Davies City station so it goes pretty fast. Should be able to do a rank in well under 2 hours depending on how hard you hit it.

ps Can't get rank up missions from burning station or rescue ship so I need to find an undamaged station with one of the minor factions I'm doing rescues for. I go to Kareco - Brill Station for that. I'm assuming you already know how that works and aren't asking for help with that part.

Yeah, find a station with several Empire-aligned factions, and just keep running the high-rep missions (if there's a burning station, rescue missions are really good for this). The rank-up missions WILL appear eventually.

If one is interested in Ranking Up with either of the two Navy's and or the Alliance, it is best to work a system with loads of brokers whom are affiliated with said Navy or Alliance. It is of the most upmost importance that one only does missions from the broker's affiliated with said Navy's and or the Alliance, accepting mission from any other not only halts one's progress temporary by causing one to have to do additional missions. There are a couple of systems where as one can do mission's to another system and then return to the previous loaded with more missions. It is best regardless of the payout to always accept the reward with the highest REP which is indicated by the word REP and followed by one or more plus signs (+). Should one need CR's and accept a mission from any other broker not affiliated to their choice. Is basically moonlighting and doing so cause disdain with the broker's affiliated and causes one to do additional missions. On occasion one might observe a blue or red triangle next to there REP status. The triangles will appear in a pointed upwards or downward position. Going from a red downward to a red upward to a blue downward to a blue upward and then none at all generally takes an additional 11 missions. Any missions done for the affiliated parties will continue, but won't be credited until the little triangles are gone.

Try doing data missions from Ngalinn to Malinn.Boring but quick money and rank.Make sure you do the Imperial Navy missions chain. This is how you rank up.Be patient, they missions will drop eventually.

I agree that the large ship is hurting your chances.
You want stations with many Imperial minor factions and where you have good rep.
Stations where I am allied won't help you.

I just made the lowly rank of Serf last night, but it took a few station hops (trading in between) before a suitable mission proc'ed. Either my ship (a lightly armed T10) was too big, or the missions on offer were predominately assassination or destruction type. In the end I got one that required 45 units of clothing so with the help of EDDB, found a nearby system and Bob's yer uncle. I can see though that I need to think about investing in a decent combat ship and keeping it stored nearby, if I want to proceed up the Imperial chain - and I do so much want my Cutter!
