Out of curiosity, how did I get killed?

Took my (at the time) un-Engineered and AX-equipped Gunship out to Felicity for some FSD love. And as I entered the no-fire zone, I got taken out by an FDL. Quite impressively.

I'm just curious as to how. I'm guessing long-range railguns, something like that?

What's the range on those? Because I'm assuming the FDL was just outside the NFZ, while I was a good three kicks into it (I think - might be wrong on that).

You can shoot in the no fire zone... you get a fine thats all... just never ever hit the station

Aaaaah, right. For some reason I thought that the station would defend ships within the NFZ, especially if they've already asked for (and been granted) docking permission. Seems an odd behaviour.

Are you in a powerplay ?
If yes that cmdr ho shot you might have bin ftom a other power so the kill will be for that. Or simply a greefer.
