The posts above don't really indicate a willingness to learn. Besides, the Drag Munitions change is going away. Why not drop it?
The only folks having a 'hissy fit" in here are the ones who can't suffer someone like the OP going to do something about a change they don't like and succeeding.
Did you notice how quiet this thread got once the rollback was announced? Telling.
Ah, they confirmed it already? Or is this a reference to the 'we are looking at it' post? Any specific changes anmounced or a complete reversal?
I'd love to hear your view on these two dozen different views you claim to see. Perhaps it'll provide the nuance you feel my post was lacking.
They said they are removing the change to the Drag Munition effect and may address it in the future. I believe they said it should revert next week.

Well, i can probably name at least half a dozen, starting with:
PvEers who think it wasn't a big problem
PvEers who think it was a problem
PvPers who think it wasn't a big problem
PvPers who think it was a problem
Then there are those who don't care much, those who do care but are not particlarly oriented on PvP or PvE. And Ziggy.

To my mind the only ones having a hissy fit are those behind the OP. And really, trying to give SDC credit for this is really really insane. SDC did what they always do, piggyback on a cause and then say they will gank people until it changes (so basically they do absoloutely nothing different to usual). Afterwards, claim credit for the change if it happens. If it doesn't happen, then they simply say FD don't listen to them.
Basically they claim credit for doing nothing that they don't already do.
I would file all of these under the first group I mentioned.
The second group isn't very large.
I'll likely continue responding to posts like this if only to provide some kind of counter point to the dripping invective and sarcasm.

I'd be surprised if gankers didn't have channels with which to communicate directly with FDEV. In fact, it reminds me a lot of some of my own in-game campaigns.
