I really feel like FDev does no PvP. It seems the PvPers find all the weaknesses right away, or that they can fire torps in stations (who would even attempt it?). All this stuff gets discovered in Open, I am assuming.

I did notice my canopy was damaged after just a couple NPC laser hits today, while my hull was at about 80%.

Get some distance when the interceptors get mad and avoid the thargons completely.
Nah, canopies are overrated.
I killed my last Cyclops with no canopy, using guass cannons.

I'm particularly proud of this kill, because I can't usually hit anything with guass cannons with a canopy. Lol

Unfortunately, I was at point blank for my final shot, so I got slimed, with only 8% hull left, and no limpets.
I was dead before synthesis finished. :ROFLMAO:

Nicely done, my proudest AX moment was tumbling passed one completely out of control hanging in tatters as a wing of players jumped in and suggesting they finish it off as it now had no hearts at all. Which they did, then helpfully hit me with a decon limpit and I limped away for repairs.

Its genuinely fun when your canopy goes as long as its not so often its annoying, PVP aside I just haven't seen it happen for a long time though.

Quite a feat. I know i wouldn't manage to do that.

Hmm. 8% could've been enough to cook it off. But yea, i know how things are when your ship is about to break apart.

By the time I'd opened the synthesis menu I was at 2%. Lol
Interceptor goo is very corrosive compared to the missiles.

I doubt I would have made it to 160% heat before dying anyway.

I don't think Frontier are obliged to apologise for anything, but I wouldn't say no to an "Apology Pack" in any case. :p

It's a game. They're a software development company. They will make a game you like, or they won't. It will be sufficiently financially successful or it won't.
They will make mistakes and introduce bugs, some of which they'll fix.

I don't get the bitterness some people express. Pre-release backers didn't know exactly what the game was going to be like to play, or if the plans and promises would see fruition, but they bought it anyway. Everyone else had the chance to watch videos and read reviews before purchasing. If you bought it in either case, you got what you were willing to pay for. Anything else is a bonus, and you should be well aware that anything in the game is subject to change.

Either find a way to enjoy it, or do something else you enjoy. Not much point in getting worked up over it, or writing posts to try and shame the developers.

If you're passionate about the state of the game, then the most useful things you can do are bug reporting and constructive suggestions. Neither may be given much notice, but then again they might.
