That has happened to me, too, yes. Along with being unsure about my hotas bindings after some time away... "Is this one landing gear or boost? Hmm..."

Also I often can not recollect why I have a handful of my ships/modules spread around the bubble in various systems.

Playing a couple of accounts makes this even worse, particularly if just slightly distracted, as sort of "whaaat...!" - "Oh! THAT Cmdr!" when realising that not only is the location wrong but the ship also, just my age I suppose

Yep! Plenty, normally when I figure it out it was for a grind for rank or permit

Yes, I tend to play for 3-4 months, then go do something else for 3-4 months and occasionally find that I have no idea why I'm in the ship I'm in nor why I'm in the system I'm in, and puzzle at why I'm sitting in a bathtub full of ice in the back of the ship.

First 5 months without VR, was drunk on every session (kinda miss it) I woke up one day and found I had bought a Clipper and flown to Barnards loop (Way before engineers etc)

No way would I get drunk in VR. Although there is a much more mellow recreational thing that goes perfectly with VR.. Cough, Cough
