Anyone else still getting Terrible FPS after todays patch?

I got a 2080ti i7 7700k 16gb ram and elite dangerous is downloaded on a ssd and with FX settings on im still dropping Frames to 70 fps from before 144fps. even if i turn FX off now im still not getting the frames i used to get before the latest patch.

Only problem I'm having is when I travel to a space station it's not on my contracts so I can't communicate with the station its like I'm invisible can't do anything have tried different stations and the same thing happened

Are your sensors damaged, or have they been powered off?

Without sensors you cannot 'see' things, including stations, so you cannot request docking.

Well, just to be sure, check that the sensors are powered on (and you have enough power for all modules to be running) as module power priority was addressed in this patch. If it's still an issue (do you have any other ships you can test with?) then I'd submit a support ticket as they should be able to help you out. You can do that here.

It doesn't sound like a bug, as if it were then there'd likely be a lot of people noticing it. I haven't played much since the patch, but did do a quick flight and everything was working as normal, and re the OP, my frame rates are back to normal (in VR).

I've got a Oculus Rift and Ti 1080 and the game runs smooooooooth now. Silky smooth. Thanks devs! Nice job tweaking it :D

Hey Wasp0. I always delete the shader cache file when there is an elite update, or I update the Nvidia drivers. It’s not really necessary, as I understand that Nvidia for example has its own system of identifying, comparing, and automatically updating compute shaders if they are different in game from what is in the cache. But to save this potentially happening while the game is running. I like to keep my cache clean and uncluttered and start afresh at the beginning of said updates.

I am seeing the same low FPS even after the Thursday patch. Previously the workaround was to edit the graphics xml file but that no longer works.

Every time FDev release an update, bugs galore ....... sort it out !
